Went to Target and tehy have a sale on Cyberverse and Predacon Rizing figures! So I brought back this lot, including DELUXE SKYLINX!



Sigh... This isnt even a TF. It's some king of accessory for some action figure. I really hoped it was a Beast wars. Oh well. If anyone know what the hell this **** is, feel free to tell. I'll just pack it back up and return it tommorrow.

I thought something was off right off the bat from that first photo. I was recently toy swapped too, and like you, it was painted poorly as well. This strikes me as the same guy since we are in the same geographic region. Its too big a coincidence. What a piece of garbage that guy is, thinking he can get away with this crap. I am glad its collectors like you and I who picked them up, out of curiosity, and not some poor parent of kid. We knew there was something fishy and now no one else has to suffer from this lame brain's ill practices.

As for today.
I packed the "Skylinx" quickly back into it's packaging without making any effort whatsoever to hide anything. It's even secured with a very large but clear box-tape. I went to Target today to return the thing that pass as Skylinx. I clearly explained to the customer service lady that I "bought it without really looking" but the toy was swapped by somebody for something random. She said nothing and gave me a confused look. Then she said "there's a part missing?". I made a loud and dramatic sigh, wide eye-roll and shoulder drop included. Then, I said "NNah, this just wont do". She scanned the thing, gave me back my money, and I left. I bet sooner or later, that "Skylinx" will find itself back on that Target's shelves.

Also, scored Deluxe AoE Strafe and Slash. around 20$ each. No matter, I'm not waiting for a sale for the dinobots. I'm getting them as soon as they come out. BTW, Slash is okay, Strafe is awesome.

Gah, been a couple days late posting this. When I got TFCC Rampage last week, I knew I had to get Depth Charge, so on the last day of the sale I ordered him. Came home Wednesday afternoon to find him in the mail! Have to say, I really like him, and both he and Rampage look really good next to each other. I'm considering Transmutate, but I'm on the fence.

Power Attacker Scorn showed up in the mail today. Not quite as nice as the Deluxe version, but let's be fair, deluxe Scorn is a tough act to follow.

Target had some big discounts on their exclusives as well as cyberverse figures. So I got:
Legion Arachnid and Soundwave for 2.50$ each
Bludgeon, Megatron, Hardshell and Ultra Magnus for 5$ each
And the Optimus and Predaking set for 8$
I already got Abominus before but included him here for good measure

The other stuff available was legion prowl and bumblebee as well as Commander Bulkhead (beast hunters) and Trailcutter, all of which I had no interest in picking up. If its not one of those then we can still be friends.

Glad you got your money back. I went to that target and your swapped "transformer" wasnt there so I guess they will send it back to their distributor as faulty.

For my toy swap, I went to hasbro directly because I preffered taking a change that hasbro would have the transformer I was looking for since there were no more of it in retail (BH Ripclaw). I was able to send it to them no problem but they pulled a "equal value" crap on me and I got back BH Soundwave instead of Ripclaw. Oh well

When you buy something at Target, you get two receipts. The first is the proper receipt while the secon is a cuppon that is totally random. It could be 10% off a bag of chips, 3$ off toilet paper, whatever. When I bought my Cyberverses, I got a 5$ off anything "video game". So, I used it on that 3DS accessory kit. The thing is, the 10$ kit was already at 50% off and the random cuppon can be added to the already discounted item! It can only be redeemed at the live cashier. So, the kit was 5$-5$ off = FREE!

That was a good day.

I went to a T J Maxx today and got BH Dreadwing and Ratchet.

I know I'm super late to the party on these guys, but they are very interesting toys. Dreadwing is nice and solid, a very welcome departure from light and hollow AoE toys. But I just don't understand this dragonfly wing/chicken feet thing. And his weapon makes no sense whatsoever.
Ratchet is really interesting, but so totally should have been a Decepticon.

Also found Kreons of Sandstorm, Cyclonus, Slipstream, Breakdown (or Neck Brake or whatever his 'name' is now), Demolisher and Barrage.

Funny enough, the Japanese "Go!" release of the mold actually is a Decepticon. It's still Ratchet, but he's a Decepticon for some reason.

I just picked up AoE Voyager Galvatron from Walmart, and I must say I like it. At 1st I didn't care for the robot mode, it was strictly the vehicle mode that sold it for me. But turns out the robot mode is actually pretty solid, and would be pretty cool if that giant hole wasn't in the middle of his chest. The vehicle mode is pretty cool, as I expected, except the feet that form the trailer hitch (or whatever) don't stay together well. I noticed he's bit larger than the previous movie Voyager Megatrons.
