You probably didnt want to stare at his crotch:
He also has a darker metallic blue but that isnt as obvious from the pics.

I saw this post yesterday, and spent a couple seconds before leaving for work this morning looking at my Magnus. I cannot stop looking at his crotch now.

I am still very surprised you missed it, were you simply not looking at that area?

Guess I just wasn't, yeah.

Right. I mean, who spends time staring at robot crotches.
Besides me, I mean...![]()

nycPrime wrote:Received my replacement Platinum Seeker set and I really like it. The bots look only ok, and the parts-forming is annoying, but I understand why and accept it. But I really dig the metal giving the figures some bulk, and the plane-modes are glorious. I'm not a big sticker guy, but I think I'll have to put these on. So thus far I love this set and the Predaking set. This has made me just about ready to pull the trigger on the Insecticons platinum set. Any other Platinum G1 sets worth looking into?

Hellscream9999 wrote:Further into my playing with Liokaiser, my Hellbats knees are to loose to hold up the arm in combined mode, but, whatever. The more interesting part, is that the heads are not designed in such a way as to allow for alternate limb configuration with ease. They can alternate limb configurations with full clearance, but Guyhawks head has to be tilted all the way back, and the tank bro's need to be tilted upward under the turret in arm mode so as to not collide with their own pelvis'.
Still an awesome set - definitely worth it, the tighter joints on Dezarus really help, but he's still top heavy unfortunately. The limbs do look great on Galvatronus though

The Hellbat issue may not be one that affects the figure in general, because mine is fine. Both his and Guyhawks legs don't peg together very well, so I've got that going on, but the knees are fine.
Also, this set is my first Arms Micron exposure. I'm not all that impressed.

I'm well aware that what plagues one figure might not affect another, just reporting on mine![]()

Well, they were just simple model kits...
Some of the Arms Microns might have been praiseworthy enough on this own (I don't recall hearing such about the Gul mold, though), but I think most of the praise came from potential created by having many Arms Microns, as a bunch of different ones together as a collective offered a wider range of playability via the many diverse weapon combinations that one could create from having multiple different Arms Microns.Dagon wrote:Yeah, but I'd heard a lot of good things about them in the however many years since they were first released, so I suppose all of that had influenced my thoughts of what they were. People often spoke highly of them, so I assumed that meant the were things worthy of being spoken highly of. I'm sorry, I guess?

No flop on mine.
