2016 Generations Platinum sets
Re: 2016 Generations Platinum sets
That Planet of Junk set is very tempting. Shame I just picked up Wreck-Gar not too long ago. I could use a decent sized Hot Rod in my collection, but do I need that Roddy?
Edit: that little image is totally leader SW.

Hoping it's not too far out there; Ive been needing Wreck-Gar for a while, wouldn't mind welcoming another Junkion to the shelves, and my Reveal the Shield Rodimus, like many others in my collection, is showing his age.
Ugh, too much stuff coming out this year. And I thought 2015 was going to be a financial heartbreak....

@Will - I tryed to zoom in on that little photo in Photoshop. what looks like a pic of Gen Leader Skywarp became an 8-bit image of Gen Leader Skywarp.![]()
The image is too small to zoom in on. Sure looks like Skywarp to me. What could it mean?
Woohoo party (memories)!
I think this is a perfectly appropriate time to push my idea for a Junkion combiner from 4 versions of the UW Groove mold. That would have been better than this.

At least, the deco is pretty nice. I don't have either of the junkions so I'll keep an eye open for this set.

He's decent. He's not great as the articulation is a bit limited, but you can't go wrong with picking up any version of the guy. Do take note that some of the later releases have a loose arm socket, but no really major defects.

Wow, $80 US for three deluxe's - 2 of which are ostensibly the same mold, both of whom have a serious breakage issue (as recently as tfss Tarantuals, if memory serves) - all of whom are sporting uninspired, generic deco's which really seem to strain the definition of a 'platinum edition' - this is a joke right? Great job hasbro, you get a gold star
While I can honestly say I was would have been far more displeased had they used the G1 figures, I feel that X was right, there was far more that they could have done with this set

If you want a Hot Rod that doesn't upgrade into Rodimus Prime like the first Masterpiece does, sure. Not sure if there's a Titans Return Rodimus coming down the pipe... if there is, it must be a Voyager, must be based on his Rodimus Prime form, and the bio MUST admit that he killed Optimus Prime.

I want the Planet Junk set, I don't have any of the original figures and my shelf has taken on a very Animated Movie-vibe so these figs will fit in nicely.
