Oh well. A least the Junkion mold is one of the best of the past decade, so getting two of them will be worth it for some.
I wouldnt call a mld that has a serious breakage issue to be one of the best. I hope that is fixed in this release.
I would (and did!
). Sure, one has to be thoughtful in the transformation. But I've transformed at least a dozen of these guys many times (lots of redecos and troop-building) and the only real risk comes the first time you try it, assuming you don't know about the nuances. Even my first time, I could tell that the tension was a bit weird and I stopped and looked it over, before making adjustments. As long as you're not apt to force it, then you shouldn't have any kind of problem understanding how to transform it safely.
But as to why it's a great mold:
1) It has a unique and -- when done properly -- solid transformation. Not simple, but clever and rewarding when done right.
2) It has a lot of great detailing in both forms and really pops in bot mode.
3) It has easily some of the best pose-ability seen in a non-Masterpiece figure.
4) They can RIDE EACH OTHER.
Honestly, this is one of the few molds that I enjoy so much, I don't feel any need for a Masterpiece version. (But of course I'll buy one! Err... TWO
)
