Megatron Wolf wrote:That rodimus really isnt a bad figure, was one of the best in the line & now that hes made of plastic that'll help alot. Galvatron on the other hand is terrible unless all you want to do it look at him. Id pick this set up just for rodimus but i already know its going to be hella over priced like the rest so ill be passing.

That was never said by hasbro. This is probably just a reissue of the same toy with a different paint job.
Flashwave wrote:I am surprised no one likes the Titanium mold. Its one of the few I thoyggt were well balanced and transformed well
Doesnt mean I am getting this set, mind you. I wonder what the fandom would have done if they used his Energon Rodimus Major figure?

They did give Cyclonus a new weapon. And a new left hand with a port in it that the original version lacked. And gave the one Sweep a new head (that's totally not the BotCon Devcon, I swear!). In saying that, if this guy actually retains the diecast, I'll be surprised.

Never know with Hasbro though. I'd not be surprised if they cut corners.

2 things though
1. Diecast isnt expensive in the least, look at hotwheels cars. And they kept the diecast for all the other platinum sets.
2. The Cyclonus weapon isnt new. It's generations Kup's rifle.
All of your other points stand though.

You may not know this, but the materials the mold is made of determine whether it can be used with plastic and/or metal, due to melting points. Die-cast metal molds (like those for the Titanium Series) can be used to cast plastic pieces, but I don't know how that will work out for Roddy here, joint-wise.

What I'm saying is that it's the diecast that was the big problem with Rodimus; from what I know, the diecast made him unstable and floppy.
