Well come on Hasbro, Come on, the colors are terrible. You already have a new better looking Galvatron coming out, you couldn't try to work a better mold for Rodimus?

This is why 3rd Party wins. I have no reason to sell my Mania King Vintage versionfor this puddle of crap.

As for Rodimus, I still have Titanium Rodimus but just like Magnus he needs a new mold and not a repaint of Springer.

I really, really hate this set. The Platinum 5 piece set is a go, the Cyclonus/Sweeps set, is a go, Classics Prime/Megs set, not the best but maybe a win for those who need them, this set, well you can throw it away because its crappy.

I feel like Hasbro decided that snubbing Beast Wars wasn't enough and they needed to rub everyone's face in it with as many half-assed movie sets as they could possibly slap together.

One decent domestic release for the BW anniversary. Why is that such a ludicrous thing to hope for?

Lazy slapped together Platinum sets? Roddy/Galv maybe, but whats wrong with the other sets? They're all great molds with great deco's. And as WJ said, TR GALVATRON.

Could things be better? Sure, things can always be better. But things are nowhere near bad.

The Prime/Megatron set is basically just another Prime vs. Megatron 2-pack, the molds and decos not really doing anything to evoke that specific battle (not that there would have been an option in Megatron's case. And with TR Galvatron, Scourge, and Blurr coming, rehashes of their Universe/Generations figures are pretty superfluous. Mostly, though, I just feel like five sets for this is rather excessive.

I agree. I like Beast Wars, but come on guys, let's just be happy that at least Takara is celebrating it. Also, it's the 30th year anniversary of the 1986 movie, so of course Hasbro is going to focus on that. I personally am adoring it so far, even if I only like one of the multiple platinum edition sets announced. (Autobot Heroes is definitely MY hero of a set since I never thought I would be able to get Arcee and/or Kup until then.) I personally am very happy that they are focusing on just two shows' characters right now (Japanese Headmasters and 1986 movie), so that I can collect as many season 3 and 4 characters as I can.

Also, it's perfect that they are celebrating the 1986 movie ALONG with doing headmasters, since the Japanese Headmasters cartoon had most of those American season 3 and 4 characters also integrated into the cartoon. You can have Hardhead and Rodimus Prime fighting beside each-other on your shelf without looking like a total TF noob. (That is, if they release a voyager Rodimus Prime of course. )

Okay, those decoes are actually pretty sweet. They highlight what's good about the Glavatron.

I don't see anything wrong with Galvatron besides the cannon arm

I've always been a supporter of C/G Galvatron. And that deco gives the Asia 3-Pack version a run for its money.

I also have no qualms with the Titanium Roddy mold either. I look forward to this set

Nice deco's on them, but man, that galvy looks like a really incoherent mess, just everything looks wrong with him, like he was a voyager sized figure shoved haphazardly into a deluxe sized figure... oh, wait...

Die cast? Damn.

Or at least some of them needs to be plastic, Titanium Megatron could've gotten a lot from that.

If Titanium WWi Optimus get released, I hope some of the die-cast is removed.

Its the first time we are getting a Hasbro toy of Galvatron in his G1 alt mode in G1 colours, and its this year. So arent we lucky afterall?

But I want him in grey with a dark face like the G1 toy and especially the Marvel UK Galavtron(s) who is by far my fave version of the character.

Maybe white with light blue streaks to look like the shiny comic shading but also like the cel-shading they used in Transformers Devasatation game.

With the plastic indents on either side of Rodimus' head in the packaging, my first thought was that they were giving him a full Thunderhoof makeover.

At least the decos look really nice... still not the greatest toys tho. Still holding out for that Hot Rod TR rumour; they just have to do an actual toy of him for this anniversary thing, right?

Joking aside, that rumour is for 2017.

I have that Galvatron and he's a fiddly mess. I really wish they went voyager class with it because that would have helped. I liked it but it has some major annoying flaws. Still, this paint job looks good.
