I analyze ever tiny bit of the movie and make connections. I do that with every movie and video game.
Then you must have a different way of analyzing it, because looking too closely into it tends to cause people to hate the movies. (How did they walk out of the Smithsonian in DC and end up in Arizona?)
Because it's called fiction.
But then that's not over analyzing. Even so, being fiction does not give a story instant forgiveness for plot holes like that.
But do little things like that really ruin the entire movie? All I really care about is the storyline and the characters.
And all I really care about is the explosions. If you want a story, read a book, and if you want interactive...ness and depth, play a video game.
I thought ROTF had a good storyline though. And good explosions...and lots of them. I love explosions, and that's why I pay good money to see and purchase Michael Bay movies and play TF and other combat video games (like Call of Duty, MAG, HAWX, WFC, etc)
I liked the story in ROTF too. There just aren't many stories that I care about. Anything that has to do with any kind of alien/gov't conspiracy is really the only type of story I care about.
I used to like alien movies but everything looks the same to me nowadays. Although I always watch stuff on History or Discovery or whatever obout alien cover-ups.

Me too. And no one ever makes movies about that stuff! Some one needs to make a movie about real life encounters. That would be the greatest movie evar.

I don't think they're brainless. There is a much deeper level that every one always over looks.

For some reason, I don't see the extreme brainlessness that everyone else seems to see. Yes, there are lots of explosions, but aren't these giant robots fightings a war, not having a tea party or a business meeting?

"War" does not mean "Depth."SlyTF1 wrote:I don't think they're brainless. There is a much deeper level that every one always over looks.
No, there isn't. I know you think there is, but there isn't. I like ROTF, and I still recognize it's a big dumb action flick.

You're point is?
Sometimes repetition is the best way to get a point across...then again why do I even try. We still have the damn FIR and RIB that no one can get over.
