2. Did you're brain turn off after the 80's and just ignore anything else that has happened since? Because we've had numerous new iterations into the TF Universe take place that have all helped to shape the brand into what it is today, not just G1. You're the embodiment of the term GEEWUN, that makes fans of G1 come off as elitist snobs. Everyone read the letter. It was short on substance and long on drivel. We get it. You want a G1 Movie. That's wonderful to have wants in life. But it in no way 1) Reflects some universal truth about the necessity for such a film or 2) reflects an equally universal truth regarding the fandom's wishes for a film like that. You have an opinion. And so does everyone else on here. No one's is any more important than any others. Respect is something you seem to lack almost as much as logic and reason.

The arrogant responses you've given do nothing but solidify you as a delusional, self-entitled individual. Hopefully you decide to actually contribute to the community instead of seeking new ways to irritate it. Until then you should be as ignored by those on this board as your juvenile letter was by Bay.

Guys...I think I just figured out the key to peace in the Transformers fandom! How about we build a time machine and travel to the time when HasTak was deciding to axe G1, we lock all the executives in a room where we hold them captive until they agree that they will keep G1 and never stray away from it, and keep making the same tv show and toys as long as the brand exists, then we travel back to 2010. There we find a happy world where there are no fights in the fandom, and we don't have to worry about the brand ever changing and causing riots because Hasbro dared to change it. It's a perfect idea! The 80's would last forever! Then, everyone would end up being a "true fan" for eternity!

To anyone who read that in a serious state of mind and wanted to commend me for it, I laugh in your face for your close mindedness. Yes, I was using humorous sarcasm. Please don't take that paragraph seriously.

(But realistically, if we did force them to keep G1, the brand probably would've been dead in like the early 90's or so.)

Actually that's true. After G1 there was a few years of nothing, then G2 came along...and didn't do particularly well, and died off after only a couple years. It wasn't until Beast Wars that the series got out of the funk it had been in for several years.

Well, here's a note for Joker's Requiem & Shawdowman (and for the rest of you who agree with them):

1. A true fan respects their passion and then tries to remain "true" to what they love. That goes with anything.

2. And yes, my brain probably did completely stop processing anything else after Sunday, December 31st, 1989. In fact I'm wearing my black parachute pants right now along with my He-Man sweatshirt...and my modified DeLorean DMC-12 is parked in the garage.

I did not say, "GEEWUN" what is that anyway? A vintage Go-Bot or something!?! GENUINE is: possessing the claimed or attribute character, quality or origin. "bonafide" which is what I said, means: made, done, presented in good faith without deception or fraud.

I made no deception that I am in love with the G1 series - it's quite obvious that I am. Not once did I bash you guys for liking or being "true" to the Transformers-verse you like the best. AND OF COURSE no one's is MORE important than any others - but what IS important (to me anyway) is that 'Bay & Company' hopefully creates a nice storyline to end his Bay-verse with. And the Teaser Trailer him and his team released is NOT a step in the right direction!

As of right now, we are just suppose to believe that all-of-sudden one Transformer who crashed landed on the moon (whether it's going to be Alpha Trion or not) has been either sitting there since 1969 and/or has been kept captive (or whatever) by some strange NASA conspiracy...and that Sector 7 nor any of the other branches of government/military nor any of the Bay-verse Transformers knew about it!?! That's not even going into questions like: Was that the Autobots only spaceship? Why haven't we've seen others? And the list goes on and on and on!

So who's the delusional self-entitled individual?

And once again I state: This is the Live Action Films Forum, I was giving MY own thoughts to what should happen in Dark of the Moon and some, just some, of the embarrassing aspects of the others. So you want to keep acting "juvenile"...why don't you grow a pair and post a "froneyzone bashing" forum in the General Forum - WHERE IT BELONGS!!!

Who IS red? Frenzy or Rumble? I guess Rumble, because in WFC Frenzy was blue, and I don't remeber what color Rumble was, and in the movies Frenzy is white, and in my G1 picture book with everyone's bio and everything, Frenzy is blue, so that leads me to assume that Rumble is the red one.

There really is no definite answer. They change the damn colors on them so much that it doesn't really matter. If you see the many many appearances of either character, you will see the names and colors get jumbled up a lot. I say whoever you want to be whatever color goes. I prefer to think of Frenzy as blue and Rumble as black and red though.

1. *sigh* You're completely missing the point. You used "true" in a way that separates those with differing opinions from those with like-minded opinions. Re-read everything you've posted in this thread. It's all been about you're adherence to G1 and how Bay and CO aren't being "true" to those "true" fans. THAT is what this has all been about. How you seem to believe that there is some concrete absolute truth to someone's Transformers fandom. This isn't about the fandom as a whole adhering to the same loyalty and respect for the brand. It's about how divisive you sought to be in declaring that it ought to be for "true" (G1) fans. Nice try, though. At least you've backpedaled enough to admit that your opinion isn't superior to anyone else's, and that you "never" in any way bashed anyone for their differing stance on anything (again, ). Just don't trip over and fall while you feverishly try to backpedal over ALL of the nonsense you've posted. Then I'd have to laugh at you. Which no one wants. Oh, wait..

Again..*sigh*...you're opinion. Which is great. But you're dismissive attitude towards others opinions is what has gotten others annoyed with your posts and, well, you. Again, re-read most of what you have posted. You carried yourself with an undeserved sense of superiority and came of as an elitist. Which all ties back into my first point.

Again, TEASER trailer. It was meant to cause you to postulate those questions, to get you interested in how they will be answered in the film, or how they may not be. The TEASER isn't going to say: This is the only Autobot ship, that left Cybertron carrying (for ex.) Sentinel Prime, which crash landed on the Moon 1 million years ago. You haven't seen any other Transformers due to another Government conspiracy. Keep that list of yours handy, because this 2 hour and 30 minute trailer will answer all of those questions. Oh, wait, those are called MOVIES. Which TEASER trailers are supposed to promote and draw interest to. Not lay out all of the plot details and story before the film has actually been released. Again

Now that you've labeled them as such, it's safer to assume that's what you intend them to be presently. But when you posted it there was no "I think" or "IMO" or anything of that nature. All there was was an overarching attitude of being the only one with a relevant opinion, the only one with any idea of what it meant to be a "true" fan, and the only one who knew what a "true" film for those same "true" fans should/could be. Again, and I can't stress this enough, it was elitist and degrading to TF fans on this board and everywhere else to carry yourself in such a way. How you aren't understanding the negative reaction to your own snobish and abrasive posts is beyond me. And how you continue to try to excuse that elitism is again, beyond me. Irrational and delusional thinking just aren't readily understood by those of us who use sound knowledge when they post

Right, this has gone on long enough. Nothing more is going to be achieved with this thread other than a back and forth debate about who's a fan and who isn't.
