One question remain. Does the trailer transform into that dorky G1 "base" or can it do that PLUS be a part of an eventual Optimus Prime SUPER MODE?

I don't remember his G1 trailer transforming to anything. I recall that he used it to store ... um ... "Stuff" and Roller. But your latter statement was true: It did transform into a Base AND combined for his Super Mode in Armada.

But otherwise I doubt that it'll transform much: that would be Mass-shifting probably WHICH Bay doesn't want. It's most likely gonna be like the Semi-base was in Knight Rider TV series (1982)

Could you immagine a Movie-verse Roller-drone?

Who IS red? Frenzy or Rumble? I guess Rumble, because in WFC Frenzy was blue, and I don't remeber what color Rumble was, and in the movies Frenzy is white, and in my G1 picture book with everyone's bio and everything, Frenzy is blue, so that leads me to assume that Rumble is the red one.

2. I actually did read the whole thing.
3. Dude, seriously. It's a teaser trailer. They usually don't have much in them. As history shows with almost every modern film, there will be several full-length trailers to follow. Be patient. The thing comes out in July for Primus' sake.

I've collected TF's since they first come out. I have over 1000 in my collection, I have an extensive collection of UK comics, I have all the dvd's, I kitbash my own TF's.

And I liked the trailer.

So don't you dare sit there and tell me i'm not a Transformers fan. Because I damn well am. So please, spare us this "you're not a fan if you liked the trailer" garbage, because if you keep it up i'm going to slap a warning on you for trolling.

There are no damn true Transformers fans! There are only fans and non fans! What don't you get about that? When are you going to figure out that there is no one pure, true transformers fan? I was almost literally brought up on Transformers. My first toy was G1 Bluestreak. I saw MTMTE when it premiered. I've got stuff from Japan.

And I love the trailer.

2. Did you're brain turn off after the 80's and just ignore anything else that has happened since? Because we've had numerous new iterations into the TF Universe take place that have all helped to shape the brand into what it is today, not just G1. You're the embodiment of the term GEEWUN, that makes fans of G1 come off as elitist snobs. Everyone read the letter. It was short on substance and long on drivel. We get it. You want a G1 Movie. That's wonderful to have wants in life. But it in no way 1) Reflects some universal truth about the necessity for such a film or 2) reflects an equally universal truth regarding the fandom's wishes for a film like that. You have an opinion. And so does everyone else on here. No one's is any more important than any others. Respect is something you seem to lack almost as much as logic and reason.
