Welcome to Siebertron, as Mulla has pointed out it contains Nuts.
Sydney is a mixed bad for Transformers at the moment, some areas (particularly on the North Shore) have done very well, while other areas (like the west/northwest) have had jack all.
I've found that Kmart was the best place for the Earlier Voyagers, but even now they seem to have sold/gotten rid of most of their stock. Bug W is great for the later waves of Voyagers, namely Prime and Megatron, but they barely had any of the first two waves.
I'll keep an eye out for the Voyagers you're after, but don't hold your breath. Where abouts are you based in Sydney? No point me looking in the same spots you are!
There are some repaints of Ratchet and Ironhide which should be out sometime soon, it'd be easier to grab them, but I understand if you want the actual movie versions.
Big W is your best bet for leader figures, they seem to restock fairly well, and only charge $89, whereas Target and Kmart charge $99.
Happy Hunting!

Thanks for the welcome mate
I want to pick up a Leader Prime, but with all this talk about sales and upcoming stock, do you think it's wise to wait a bit before purchasing one?
I wouldnt mind picking up the Rescue Ratchet and G1 jazz but I fear I have to wait a very long time for them

Righto, I'm based in Blacktown, work in Artarmon and travel out to Penriff and Mt Druitt often.

It probably is worth waiting for the sales that are supposed to be coming. If worst comes to worst and there are no sales in the next month or so, the shelves will probably have been restocked by then.
Rescue Ratchet is already out in the States, so he cannot be too far away, same goes for G1 Jazz, both will be Target exclusives. Although I'm certain that we will see the normal Voyagers back on shelves when the stock finally arrives to stores.

Picked up Ultimate Bumblebee, $119 at Target.
Target only got him in THIS morning, I rang at 9 to check to save a trip and guy told me he'd only just pulled him out of the box. Only had 2, lucky I got him to put one aside until I could get in this afternoon because the other one sold straight away.
No other new figures at all, was hoping to find Leader Brawl. Though the guy at Target said they're expecting a few small shipments over the next couple of weeks, so hopefully we'll get the first lot of new stuff up here for a couple of months.

Had the same deal last week at my local Target. Oddly enough one of the Bumblebee's was already not working.
Were both of yours half hidden on the top shelf near, but not directly above the Transformers?

As much as I hope that his price comes down so the rest of you can purchase this beautiful figure, I hope it doesn't go lower than $100 or I'll be slightly agitated.
JustMike could you PM when you find out the catalogue sale price please? That way I can chuck it up in the news for all to know. Thanks.

Wouldn't have a clue. By the time I got there the first had already been sold and the guy had put mine in Lay-buy. Though he did point at the bottom-most shelf of the piddly-crap-small section they have for Transformers right now when he said the other had been sold.

Okay, so I'm wondering if I should pack my Ultimate BB back up, return, rebuy at K-Mart........

Thanks for the info JustMike, I'll chuck this in the news on Monday, that way we all get a reminder closer to the actual sale.

I'm thinking of buying the Kmart one, taking it, and my Target receipt to Target and getting the cash back from Target. Less work for me. (and I threw away the innards and only kept the outer box. I have no room for such large packaging)

do they normally 'open' a new toy with such a high price?
even movie leaders only fluctuated about $20 from what i saw..

Cybertron Primus, who was in the Supreme price-point, similar in size to Ultimate Bumblebee went on sale at Kmart (was an exclusive) for $100 for the 2 weeks of the July toy sales last year. Then went back to $150. Similar kind of jump.
The more expensive the toy is normally, the bigger difference in price. It suckers in the "wow, look how much I can save" people more than anything.

I was thinking the exact same thing this morning actually. Lot less effort. I still have everything from my other one, I really couldn't be bothered packing it all back up.
I could use the $30 difference too. And considering I've bought the entire movie line that has become available thus far, I think I'm entitled to it.

Considering you bout 85% of it in one hit...
That $30 will buy you a deluxe, or lots of other things, so it is certainly worth it imo.

It's an awesome figure in terms of size, and especially aesthetic look when in vehicle mode (seriously, a foot-long '08 Concept Camaro, who wouldn't love that?), but I was a little disappointed in the robot mode. Again, looks freaking awesome, but the lack of articulation, notably in the legs, makes it hard to pose in some wicked styles. I'm all the about the posing of figures.
On that note, if you're tossing up between him and LC Optimus Prime, go Prime. A standout figure of the entire movie line.

i dont like Ult BB's paint work. i honestly expected the paint to be like alternators decepticharge with that metallic kinda finish. i reckon that would have been the business. his face is a bit lame on details aswell.
still, as you say mulla, car mode should be awesome and i cant wait to get it. thats if they dont sell out before the Kmart sale starts.

Got some new stock in today, but nothing great. Couple of cases of the first series of Movie Legends, FABs, Titaniums, Robot Heroes and that was about it.
And for any Perthians, Target Whitfords has Leader Brawl and Megatron, quite a few Ult. BBs and the usual crapola. Big W Whitfords had shite all.

I agree with Mulla on everything, both modes look great, but pose-ability in robot mode is lacking.
The Gimmicks are all good, some of the songs are tacky, but I think that adds to the toy. "Whip It" in particular is very catchy. The Revving in car mode is a great addition.
One other thing that deserves a mention is the paint, it's swirly and not as nice looking as it could have been. I think that's because of the size of the figure than anything else.
Personally I'd go with Bumblebee over anyone in the movie line, he has more play value than any figure released in the last 10 years. If you don't 'play' with your figures he does lose some value.
