So everyone keeps saying that the Masterpiece Movie figures are gonna be the same across the board, even saying they will be sold in the same packaging because of the TakaraTomy logo. However that's not exactly the case. Matter fact I have pictures of both packaging and will list the differences.

First you can clearly see the numbering is different right off the bat. MP-3 on Hasbros, MP-03 on TakaraTomy's. TakaraTomy's has Japanese writing on it, NO Hasbro logo, NO 10th Anniversary logo, AND NO Chevy logo (at least on the front). Also these are clearly 2 different pictures of Bumblebee. TakaraTomy's is in more of a darker color scheme we all know Bumblebee in the movies as. This could just be because it's clearly a painted prototype, but it also could be the color once removed from packaging as well. And maybe a hint to that from them using a different picture that shows that color scheme?

Let's here what you guys think and if you think there will be differences in the toys themselves.

I've seen that. I think it's an early mock-up. I have yet to see a better pic of it convincing me otherwise.

But that's just it though, that's not confirmed. There isn't a single image of that second box besides that one you provided. Which is why I say it's an early mock-up. That and it was very early on that that pic surfaced.

Google it. Every single in hand shot of the MPM-03 box is of the first.

Well, mine does not have a TRI sticker, and it is identical.

Yup. The only variant Im aware of is sticker'd and sticker'less.

I bought one off of eBay, and one off of TRU.ca so hopefully I've got both bases covered.
