Yeah I decided to show up this week. Work has finally slowed down here. Lots of porjects and training since before Thanksgiving. Now that I have a laptop I can watch TV, spend time with my finace and play HMW all at the same time!

Looks like my recently gained 14th place (in the overall team rankings, not this) is gonna be short lived unless I can gain some serious xp from somewhere. Where's Bluevolt gotten all that xp from?

Playing 24 hours a day, seven days a week!!!

Over the last 7 days myself, with my wife covering for me while i slept durin the day (thanks muchly ) have experimented in order find out what machinations and and voodoo incantations the elite top guns of HMW use in order to maintain and extend thier lofty positions.
Sure, my team would benefit from an xp haul hike and i was looking forward to the possibility of overtaking Nightcrawlingelf for the XP Games this week, after Neliz pulled out for a vacation. What i realy wanted to discover are the insider secrets of HDW's elite top players. Just who have they sold thier souls to? Sure, i had my time at the top on the first day after the reset. Having played, glued and unmoving from the PC for the first 18 hours and after being the first to Level 1, which was quickly overtaken by Wag when i had to return to the real world. I found that sensible longevity just wasnt enough to even maintain one of my troops in the top 100 and the decline was depressing.
The week previously i had put in what i believed to be a great deal of effort. After excitedly checking the XP Games standings that so brilliantly reflects the dedication players have over any given week, i was heartened by climbing to 3rd overall, but had to wonder how Chicken Supreme was putting in what would appear to be double the effort? Sure the memory crossed my mind of how once an elite is established they can manipulate things to benefit themselves, but that just was not the case here. No enduring avoiders to be seen anywhere, and CS was prominent in most of my missions scoring freely wherever he pleased. I roughly worked out that all his top earner need achieve was an average of 1000xp over 12 missions and he's laughing. Hell, i cant manage that average but i can find out what is required of the rest of us in order to catch up. If i play 24 hours with even half that average i could overtake him if only for a week...maybe?
This task would require carefull recording of data to build up player profiles. Set ups, tactics, longevity and play time. To accumulate this data would require a monumental effort on my families part, each one making huge personal sacrifices in order to support this project. We all knew deep within our souls this was needed to achieve enlightenment in the ways of the farce. We dug deep and braved the hardships with Red Bull, Pro+ and Kenco extra caff! Half way through the week we even dared to believe that we could overrun the trenches of the mighty CS! The mid week tally showed our efforts were paying huge dividends with an Equalizers average of 75,000 a day! ! ! Could we dare to challenge for supremecy? Could we smite down our opressor, change his name to Chicken MacNugget? Having checked CS's previous rap sheet, and safe in the knowledge he was unawae of our trecherous plan to usurp him we redoubled our efforts to get the extra needed for an 80,000 average over the last three days. It would be close we thought, but we can do it! There was blood, sweat and tears shed in this "Big Push" over the scared battlefields of the neverending war, but could we do it?!

Sure we got a 21% increase, but our xp haul did fall slightly short of CS's from the week before. CS scored an insane amount this week with an 88k daily average. Did he see me coming or was it down to the new mission structures? At the end of the day i thought i was more competing with Nightcrawlingelf and the excited anticipation of this weeks results were a bonus. Big shout goes to Shadowblade_DW for the 68% increase! Not easy. Bluevolt grabbed another 24 trenches but still a long way from the top 25. The one overiding thing i did learn is that most of my xp was earnt in about 6 hours. Now the secrets are mine too!

Oh, and if you're wondeing why GS is putting on the turbojets, blame revengeofstarscream. Supercruise came within 3k of taking the top spot in the high scores and GS took it PERSONALLY it seems.

I will be back to the usual "when i can be bothered" style of play from now on. No way i could keep up that marathon and I am dying to give Conan a try.

RoS has proven to be a solid competitor and an all around nice guy. He did get a little closer than I liked though, so something had to be done, lol. To be fair, I would be remiss if I didn't properly credit the Decepticon Silverbolt with helping RoS achieve his vast heights...

RoS Slaughters Silverbolt, again There are tons more like this... RoS regularly slaughters Silverbolt in the arena to gain massive xp hauls. If I were RoS I'd send SB a really nice Christmas gift next year.

It's really not rocket science people: The more XP you have, the more you tend to earn. There's no "magic" involved. As a matter of fact, I actually play LESS now than I previously had been.

Amen to that. Not much mroe than a month ago geting 1k+ in a mission was brag-worthy. Now my top guys routinely get multiple 1k+ missions a day.

Ah, just like irl. Money begets even more money.

Yea, quite sad. My brother dragged me to a Legends Tour at a high school last year and Jake and Demolition were there. Jake was literally 6 days outta rehab. He actually seems like a total dick.
