An alternate parsing could be "Supercar Robo", emphasizing that he's a "Robo" that turns into a "Supercar" rather than him been the "Super" version of a "Car Robo".Cobotron wrote:Super Car Robo.![]()

As for his English name, he wasn't in the GoBots line, so he has no English name.
He was originally a mold from Bandai's Choushinsei Flashman series (the 10th Super Sentai series), and was added to the Machine Robo line when MR got relaunched in Japan in 1986 for the Revenge of Chronos anime, which came about after the GoBots cartoon and toyline were dying down in the West. By this point, Bandai was fully heading the MR line, while Tonka's GoBots line was on its last leg, so Pro Truck Racer remains one of the many Japanese-only figures that came about after GoBots ended.

Finally I get to meet a person who knows about Machine Robo RoC. Most of the episodes had beautiful animation. I have the entire series fansubbed years ago. I also have the rare series Machine Robo Battle Hackers as well. It's a semi-decent sequel and many of the cast return though the animation quality and story dwindles as it progresses. However Blue Jet and rod Drill are not the main stars as well as both Rom and Leina being absent completely accept for flashbacks

Do we even have a known release date?

We sure do, on the previous page: February 2016.

I've been looking to get Battle Hackers for a long time. Never found it subbed. Where did you get it?
They're not out yet. Not till February.Mr Skram wrote:Did anything ever come of these guys or is it yet to be seen? Because they're pretty rad. I don't get too much into Gobots, but I do have a complete Puzzler on my shelves.
