Got me a couple of Vehicons! Finally! thanks for the heads up.

Just a note. You better have a debit card or bring some cash with you. They don't take credit card.

Besides Airachnid, I also saw Dead End which none of the Walmarts, Targets, and TRUs around me carry that.

Went to two Aldi stores today.

First Aldi had TWO VEHICONS!!!!!! Got both.

Second Aldi had Airachnid! Got her.

Both also had Hot Shot, Wheeljack, Dead End, Ratchet, and Knock Out. Left them, but NO BUMBLEBEES!!! :grin:

I also got more info on this sale. The sale started up this past Wednesday and everything they had was put out on shelves. Both places had no more items in the back and it's all first come first serve while supplies last.

There was also an outlet store nearby that had all four DOTM Dinobot Mini-Cons (Dualor, Rav, Triceradon, and Catilla), which I also picked up. :mrgreen:

I find it hilarious how Hasbro floods major stores like Wal*Mart and Target with Bumblebee figures to the point they don't order later waves of a series causing collectors to waste time and money looking for "chase" figures only to flood some regional chain months later with nothing but the formerly hard to find ones.

Obviously Hasbro has a hell of a lot more money then I do but sometimes their tactics just confuse me.

Found 5 vehicons in Martinsville, snagged 1. Also 4 airachnids and a few hotshots. This is a small town store so hit me up if you want something and if I can grab it we can work it out PayPal wise.

Went to the local Aldi's today after seeing this and was amazed to get a Vehicon, Airachnid, and Dead End. They also had Ratchet and Knockout as well. Can't believe after months of searching and driving all over wasting my time these turn up at a discount grocery store I pass by every day. The place has been there for a decade and this is the first time I have ever went into it :lol:

This post is 100% true. I have an Aldis right down the street. I thought they only sold food there. When I went in there tonight I damn near **** myself. They had 1 Airachnid, 3 ratchets, a couple Wheeljacks, and like 7 vehicons. I've never seen the vehicons in the store before, only online. I picked up three vehicons and might pick up 1 more and Airachnid tomorrow. Happy hunting if you can find an Aldis. :grin:

On a whim I decided to see if there was an Aldi's anywhere near my town. Imagine how excited I was to find out there is one in my town. Now imagine how even more excited I was to find a Vehicon when I got there. I was only able to get one because that's all they had, but man am I happy to finally have this guy in my collection.

They also had a couple Hot Shots, a couple Wheeljacks and an Airachnid (which I totally would have picked up if I didn't just get it in from HasbroToyShop.com.

I been to Aldis a couple of times all there was food after I heard about the Transformers sale went there and got 1 knockout,hotshot,deadend,rachet,vehicon,and airacnid. Been to walmart and target and toysrus some many times all there is is bumble bee.

Closest Aldi to my location is about 100 miles away.

Not that desperate about the Vehicons.

I'm about to give up on getting any more Prime figures.

What's really insane is that I haven't even gotten Bumblebee yet. I will eventually. But definitely not anytime soon.

Thanks for the heads up. Went in yesterday during lunch and they must have had 10 plus vehicons. I grabbed 4 (3 for me and one for the boy). I was ecstatic as I had yet to see one in the wild until the day before when I grabbed a FE one from TRU. Figure the TRU guy can be the "leader". Now I just need 3 jet vehicons (planted that Christmas seed with the wife already).

I got some news regarding his sale.

I mentioned having goen to two Aldi stores yesterday and my experience at each. Well, today, I went to a third aldi location on the other side of town, and talked to one of the employees there.

She said that if they get any more figures in, they would probably come during the next week or so, and would be a case of the same set of figures that we've all been finding in these stores.

Since she mentioned "if we do get more in," that opens the possibility that there could be another round of figures coming. So, let us not give up completely after your first few trips to Aldi. We should all return to the stores every now and then to report back any new findings. Good hunting and Godspeed, fellow collectors.

There wasn't much I was interested in, I've skipped on Ratchet and Hot Shot before and continue to do so, but when someone mentioned Knock Out, I figured I'd give a look.

Suffice it to say, snagged me a car enthusiast, and he is AWESOME. I don't regret passing on him before, but I'm really glad I picked Knock Out up. :lol:

If I have one complaint, it's that his car windows restrict arm movement a tad.

Dropped by my local aldi and picked up Dead End, Knock Out, Hot Shot, and Vehicon. Was surprised at how many Vehicons and Airachnids they had.

After seeing this update my lovely wife headed out to Aldi and scored me two Vehicons. There were still some left as of earlier today, but three RiD Vehicons is my limit.

Thank you SO much for the heads up. Went to the local Aldi's and picked up an Airachnid, Knock Out, and a Vehicon. Didn't understand why everyone complained about Airachnid until I pulled her out of the package, but Knock Out is pretty good and the Vehicon is great. I need to go back and get a couple more Vehicons.

Glad people are able to find Vehicons that couldn't before. No Aldi stores near me, but luckily I've already got 4(3 from local retail) RiD Vehicons and there's been 2 sitting unbought at a local Target for the past 3 days if I really feel the need for 6.

Stopped by Aldi's on the way to the theater today. They had 3 Vehicons, but I only took one. All I need. Not interested in army building and I have the FE version that I found a few weeks ago.

Now to fully focus on saving up for other things xD

I checked two Aldi locations today. The one 8 miles out near a mall had a bunch of Dead Ends and a lone Knock Out. The one a mile from my house had a bunch of Vehicons, some Hot Shots, some Wheeljacks and Dead Ends, and an Airachnid. I snagged one Vehicon and Airachnid, because I'm on a tight budget. I may get one more Vehicon later.
