I was wondering if anyone has picked up any figures from the Allspark line and has any issues with the bright blue highlights. Color plays a big part in the TFs I buy, and I'm trying to decide if I should get the original movie Prime, or Nightwatch Prime.

The blue fits some figures, others not so much. For example, Landmind looks good with the blue highlights but Incinerator's colour scheme is ruined.

I don't hate it as much as I did at first. The blue doesn't look half bad on Landmine and Cliffjumper. As for the rest of them, I'll just have to wait and see. It doesn't seem to be as bright as the stock photos.

Color-wise its not that bad, but alot of figures just have poor distribution of the color. Cliffjumper and Landmine are good examples, but those Allspark repaints of the movie cast (Bumblebee, barricade, etc) are horrid.

I actually don't mind incenerator's color scheme. The colors give it a sort of G2 vibe :lol:

Is off road Ironhide part of that line too? No wonder he's blue. I think it looks horrid. The whole reason I like I Ironhide is that he's an all black truck in the movie, and a blue figure of him just doesn't sit right with me. Good thing I ordered a black one from Hasbro's online store, it was the only place that had them. Now to wait till it gets here.....

So the color isn't really that bad, but poor distribution of it is. I guess don't really see that as a problem on Allspark leaders Prime and Brawl. In fact, I like the areas they chose to emphasize on those two figures, it brings out certain features. The only thing holding me back was the brightness of the blue, glad to hear that it isn't as bad as some of the stock photos show.
