The hype train stops for no pessimists!
That said, I'd like it if Alpha Bravo were given a little more characterization in the comics. So far he's had very little to say or do other than enthusiastically joining Superion. Hopefully the subsequent comics will expand on everybody, not just Optimus, Windblade, and Starscream.

Most of us hate Bumblebee but we all still own at least one of his figures. I never said Alpha Bravo was good for nothing. I just said he wasn't a true Aerialbot. In essence he is shattered Glass Vortex.

Why would you perma-ban me ? My pics are unintentionally promoting Alpha Bravo. For the better or worse is left up the the viewer.
But on a serious note, he will have a home on Galvatronus, Ultra Prime, or Fan-madeatron along with Rook, Offroad, and whatever other unorthodox repaints Hasbro can come up with.

So, Alpha Bravo. Who's going to keep theirs? Who's selling it? Who's going to get both Quickslinger and ALpha Bravo and skip one of the other Aerialbots? Who's getting all 5 with plans for an unusual combo? I want to hear some stories!
I'm keeping mine. He's a great figure, and though I have Slingshot ordered, Alpha Bravo will still have a place in my Autobots. Currently, my Aerialbots are seperate, and Bravo is pegged into the IGear Cosmos flight stand, leaping up behind the taller guys and shooting over their heads! That stand also works great when he's in copter mode as well.
Likewise, I have Wildrider on order, but I'll also get Off Road when he turns up. But this thread is baout the Copter. Anyone seen Vangelus's review? That opening 20 seconds is why you need Alpha Bravo. HAIL THE BRAVO!

Obviously Takara seems to agree. And according to alleged TRU listings, Hasbro might be rethinking their decision and offering us a proper Slingshot and Wildrider too. So this thread is to spur a little debate about the character and his existence in the first place. This thread is not to talk about the quality or enjoyment of the toy. My whole beef with Alpha Bravo is the fact that he is replacing Slingshot. I would have no problem with him being introduced as a separate character. Hasbro could have saved Alpha Bravo, Offroad, Rook, etc. for their fan made combiner. But replacing the only Aerialbot that actually had a unique personality to accommodate a comic book storyline is a stupid move in my opinion. Every time Hasbro/designs a combiner, they always go one off with a limb just to piss off G1 fans. Last time for Bruticus we got puke and period blood colored Vortex. Even TF wiki doesn’t list which alleged IDW comic book the Alpha Bravo storyline can be found in. A few Alpha Bravo supporters list a particular issue, but flat out refuse to take some pictures of it or provide a link that show its contents. Why isn’t it in TF Wiki already ? If these Alpha Bravo fanboys love him so much, why don’t they add his back story and comic book pics to his bio ? Instead they try to legitimize Alpha Bravo by photoshopping him into G1 cartoon screenshots. WTF ?
So this is the place for Transformers fans to discuss how they feel about Alpha Bravo. Is he friend or foe ?
Seriously, all of your posts include some kind of rant. I was going to give you the benefit of the doubt, but this is **** ridiculous! Calm down! Can you try posting something that isn't a rant for once? Is this what you G1 fans are like? And when did Slingshot have a personality?

Well you're "anti-rant rant" is a first on here.
Watch "The Key to Vector Sigma" and you will see Slingshot is the only Aerialbot with an attitude which gave him personality. The other 3 limb bots were generic followers.
And this pic is for you...

Percentage of X making some valid points (which I surprising agreed with) is roughly 1%. The rest is 99% rant.
The 1% valid
1. Stupidity of the MP-23 Exhaust bruhahaha by PM
2. Too many scale sizes (getting too confusing) Especially for a single character but eventually turns to a rant against anything not Voyager or whatever his preference is.
3. Connivance of reviewers with 3rd parties or online shops.
