I'd like to start by saying a big "thank you" for getting the armor issue resolved!
Will the alt-mode color adjustment feature be be looked into soon? I know it's just esthetic and doesn't really affect the gameplay, but it was something cool to have.

Yes, it's a big part of feeling like your characters are your own. Non-combat customisation options are surprisingly important and I'd like to see more of them!
