I cannot for the life of me remember where this frigate alt. comes from:



Could any kindly fellow HMWer kindly enlighten me?

It's from the Star wars expanded universe - It's a type of Nebulon class frigate used by the alliance/new republic but I can't remember the prefix. I don't think it was seen in the movies but the medical frigate was from the same family and maker as this ship

I've seen this ship in the Star wars warlords mod for Homeworld 2 if that helps you hunt down the specifics

That is the nebulon B class medical frigate from the Star Wars Expanded Universe as Light Blade said. I believe it is an upgraded variant of the original nebulon medical frigate seen in the original trilogy.

I had a feeling it was Star Wars related but couldn't find an example in a web search with an 'ariel' on top and the 'split-wing' shaped front (I was starting to think I might be visualising the wrong end as the front), I feel a lot better adding Turbolasers and Ion Cannons to his Bio now.

the split wing (upside down v whatever) is the back. the nebulon medical frigates seen in the films had a vertical "wing/fin" where the 'split wing' is (if i remember correctly, i may be wrong).

I thought the V section was at the front - I recall them being labelled as missile pods from somewhere, but I'm sure they're from the front end of the ship.

Try the star wars wiki - I think it's called Wookiepedia might have that ship listed.

hi does anyone know if the fox alt form still exsits & how can i usse it again.

Do you mean the Starfox land master?
It's in the alt mode rotator, just check the alt mode lists every 2-3 days and eventually it will show up again. Can't say when though

If not the land master and you meant animal fox, similar situation, it will show up again eventually unless it's been moved to a predacon/maximal list (can anyone clarify this?)
