Ah the sculpt-bot heads I have those. They're very neat.
And so is your laserbeak, that's very cool.
You can pick up a cheap airbrush from some Mr.Toys Toyworld superstores and some hobby shops. That includes nozzle section and a can instead of a compressor. They're AUS$40. You wont regret it they're very nice.
OR just use Tamiya Spray cans. Also available from Mr.Toys.
Also try looking into Gundam Markers for detailing/panel lining, they're just so much better than trying to paint thin black lines.

One more thing how did you go putting on the head? Did you drill into it and put it on?
