No need to be sorry I was only razzin ya :P mines a Wip as well he's not really an extensive kitbash or any major changes like your repaint and head swap/mod he's about 85% painted now and I added the cross on his right shoulder it's not like you can really change how Ratchet looks character wise even in a alt form... The only diffrence I was doing was making him after a "American Red Cross" promotional vehicle that i seen in real life instead of an ambulance I just need the decals and some touch ups/ clear coat to finish him.

Bot mode only for now, this pic is from a few weeks ago.

I think the one thing that would really make this look like Ratchet, and be really unique is to figure out a way to attach the windshield in front of the head in robot mode as an homage to the old toy, rather than having it folded behind the back.

geeez... Tramp, It doesn't need to be an exact G-1 Homage to be the character...Look at the whole dayum Alt line none of them transform in the same way as G-1 and if you think you can change the scion mode to look that way (rachet's G-1 Incarnation) then do it yourself and stop bitching about how ppl make their kitbashes, were not doing it for you, Everyone has their own oppinion on what they want to make and ideas, then you come in and say "You should make it look the G-1 way not the way your doing it"

Are you providing the money to make it?
Is it being made soley for you?
No? I didn't Think so...

Next Im gonna make Arcee out of the Hound mode wanna know why? Just so I can piss ppl like you off.

Sorry for the Hi-jack Alpha Alt, it's just sometimes annoying ppl in this community really piss me off with their whinning...

John, I?m not bitching. I made a suggestion I thought would look cool since no one has yet attempted it. As for me, I don?t do Alternators customs because they wouldn?t fit with the rest of my collection.

Very nice! I love the arms as well. Where are the doors? I've been trying to figure out a way to tf him without them spreading out. If you've found out plz lemme know :)

Not trying to add fuel to the flame but: IF you wanted a g1 Ratchet/Ironhide from the Scion, then do this:

All you do is rotate his head, swap his hands and then his legs. I don't like the position of the arms (which weren't attached here), but it's a start.

That?s not quite what I was talking about Koda. I?m talking about cutting the windshield off the roof and permanently attaching it to its normal vehicle mode position so that when transformed the head is behind the ?glass? and you still have the headlights, grill, and bumper in front. No change in the actual transformation, just the windshiled remains in place instead of folding up with the roof behind his back.

See the problem with that is if you cut off the windsheild you lose the rest of the roof/back kibble since it's all attached It's really not worth it to make it look that way plus the whole front end would have to sit lower which would mean adding more parts into an already cramped space in Vehicle mode, it's just not do-able.

Actually, no, the front end section would not have to sit lower since the windshield would be in front of the head, not at chest level. As for the back kibble, all you would need to do is add new suports attached to his back. It is doable.
