Ummm, Ok fellas maybe I'm overthinking this just a tad bit but... in Revenge of the Fallen, they talked like the Fallen couldn't leave his prison as long as there was one Prime still alive - and when Optimus was - "killed" - he left his confines on Saturn's(?-correct me if I'm wrong :???: ) moon, right?

ImageImageImageImageweeelllll, if Sentinel was still on Earth's moon, and NOT dead, but in stasis lock - then should not the Fallen have sense that "Oh $h!t, don't tell me there's still ONE MORE Prime somewhere near here"?!?!?

You seem to have answered your own question. If he was in stasis lock, or "off line", then its possible that the fallen couldn't detect him.

What I mean is that didn't he(Fallen) could not leave his prison because a Prime was still alive? When Optimus "died" he was able to leave - weeellll if Sentinel was there(is offline different from being DEAD) - THEN - when the Fallen strolled out of his confines should he have, well, ran into an invisible :BANG_HEAD: :BANG_HEAD:

Offline/Stasis Lock isn't truly dead though. Online or not, You'd think the Fallen would still be able to detect that his spark still burned.

This was probably answered to death already, but I'll bite. Sentiel is shut down to a degree where I imagine he's one step short of being dead. His presence is so faint the Fallen probably couldn't sense his location.

Apparently, there's a level of time travel involved. If this is the case, then The Fallen was correct when he said the last Prime was dead.

Why? Because someone or something mucks it up now, and alters history, thereby changing the events of ROTF.

Either way, you can't look too deep into the puddle of writing, otherwise you'll end up face planted.

Enjoy it for what it is, try not to think too hard about what it could've been.

ROTF has a baaaaaaaaaaad script, so I think that Bay will do what I think we all will do... pretend it never happened.

He´s just focusing on making a better movie, so it doesn´t matter if DOTM is not completely in continuity with ROTF.

Or when The Fallen sensed the Primes, he had to concertrate on Primes and since everyone probably thought that Sentinel was dead, he didn't concertate on him. Also, the machine he was hooked onto might have been some sort of telepathical device like Cerebro in the X-Men and let him sense the Primes. He might have not been actually trapped to it, just he decided to attack once the last living Prime (that anyone knew about) was dead.

Then again my theory has a hole: IF he was alive and on Earth, wouldn't he had contacted the Autobots and joined them to kick Protoforms tailpipes or exposed his presence by protecting the locals and still kicked Protoforms tailpipes?

ok, heres what happend
the fallen never said he couldnt leave his prison (if he did show me)
also, the crash on the moon was so deathly that sentinel prime was only a billionth of a meter of dying
therefore the fallen couldnt sense that he was alive
also there is an explanation on imdb

Except for the fact that Megatron's situation in DotM (stuck in Africa, battle scarred and alone) is a direct result of RotF's ending. Sorry to spoil your "fun" but RotF is canon. Deal with it.

This is still going on? For the 3485th time:

As many do not know, Sentinel Prime was already planned for the third movie when ROTF was in production. How is this? Remember when Sam has one of his mental breakdowns from the shard during class? Well, if you listen very closely to his rapid speech while he writes crazy Cybertronian symbols on the chalk board, you hear something about "the Sentinel Prime expedition".
Randumb fan: "Well maybe you heard it wrong OptiMagnus10. You know very well Michael Bay sucks and is going to completely ignore the story line he's built up already. You just fail to recognize his stupidity."
Hold on! Is this not a sequel? Was the last movie not about the Fallen trying to kill "the last Prime"? Would it not be a total lack of common sense not to explain the presence of another Prime in a story continuation?
"Exactly! Michael Bay has no common sense! See? He does suck! That's why we must boycott the movieverse bef-"
Silence, flesh creature! Has anyone considered that maybe the purpose of this guy is to keep us wondering how he's alive until we get to find out? It's not lack of brains, it's merely a strategy to keep us intrigued, which WILL be explained.
Please note: If you think I may be joking, I probably am.

We'll have to wait till the movie comes out to know for sure. There's no grounds to call it a plot hole when no one has seen the movie yet. This is where a lot of the criticism comes from. People are so quick to assume that Bay screwed up that they won't consider that there's a logical explanation.

Let's not forget that plotholes are a weak arguement against a film to begin with in most cases. After all how did people know Charles Foster Kane said "Rosebud" before dieing if no one was in the room with him? Why did David Bowman, a trained astronaut, not take his spacesuit's helmet with him when exiting the ship to go rescue his dieing crewmate? How was the T-1000 able to travel back in time when it's made of liquid metal, and non-organic matter is destroyed by the time portal?

The ultimate response to the "what about Sentinel Prime" question is to just relax and chill until the film releases.

As other said we have no context of Sentinal Prime's condition to say whether he was actually dead or not. May be some sort of means revives him like Optimus and megatron. It's too early to say. it may raise some questions that hopefully get addressed but nothing to really nerd rage about ...yet.
