I got mine this morning before I went to work, glad I did seeing as it's gone again. But I think it will be available again after they take a look at stock perhaps.

so glad im not one of these guys tryin to land this unicron bidding on ebay,purchased 2 of these badboys off amazon earlier today,i knew this would happen just from the way masterpiece Rodimus was recieved,flying off the shelves and being removed off of toys r us online.never owned a unicron,now i just have to wait.sept. 6th cant come soon enough.

I got mine from Amazon, but online retailers like YaHobby, and other scalpers are buying up large lots of them from Amazon as they become available. Then turning right around and selling them for 100+ dollars. This sucks, and makes it difficult for those of us out here who just want to have this for play and display.
I can't fault any company though for trying to make a buck. It just kinda sucks.

I wish there was some quantity limit on this purchase to keep scalpers and mark-up hungry online toy stores from sucking the wind out of the fun of having these toys.

I can understand charging high prices for stuff that is no longer produced, or is imported, but to buy something from one online retailer and turn right around and charge twice the price, knowing they bought at least a dozen or more seems sh***y.

Oh well Capitalizim is what makes the world go around... :-?

Hasbro's usually bright and sometimes overcomplicated color schemes are geared toward children. However, we can't forget the fact that this item is geared towards collectors. Having such a limited release and high price point means that Hasbro knows only the most hardcore of fans will buy this figure. (In fact, kids nowadays don't even know who Unicron is). That is why they should've sticked with a more Movie-accurate color scheme to appease the collectors. I am disappointed that they didn't put more thought into this guy. You just can't mess with such a large figure.

If there is a silver lining, it is that the Hasbro version's hands are actually the same color. I have just always hated that light-up hand.

Yep, there are currently two Amazon sellers offering Unicron for $249 and $299. I hope everyone waits and does not buy one of these.

so there's a seller on amazon listing Unicron for $299.99 plus shipping...ha whatever buddy.i landed 2 like 2 days ago.one to open and one to keep sealed.i hate scalpers. :-x
