Bought one first chance I had. I own a junked Armada Unicron which I purchased a few years ago in hopes of modding before the Takara one came out with the new head sculpt and the only part of it I really ruined during my try at kit bashing was the chest assembly, since I tried to shave it down to a more reasonable size and remove the missle launcher. I also scrapped the mini-con. Everything else is in perfect condition, so I'll have plenty of parts to play around with in case I try to do some touch-ups on the paint scheme, without ruining the Amazon parts. I've also went through the green LED mod on the other one, so this one will be a snap. Also while I was ever a fan of the light-up hand, I like the fact that I will still have that option via the extra one. I really wish they had done away with the missle gimmick and fixed the chest, but I can deal with it. I'm just glad I grabbed one while they were in stock.

We haven't heard anything about a UK release yet, but then there was no advance notice that Tesco would be getting the Target exclusives so I'd like to think there's still hope. I really want the Hasbro version but between existing preorders and real life commitments there's no way I can justify transatlantic shipping for something this heavy right now. There's no real point in emailing Hasbro UK to ask after it either, half the time they seem to have no idea of what they will and won't be supplying to retailers. Of course being outside the US if it does come to these shores there's no guarantee that it would be Amazon to pick it up. I could see Argos adding it to their catalog mid season as they're generally a bit less nervous about taking on the larger figures than other retailers.

Suddenly the prices on ebay are not looking so bad right now. I would have to be on the dopiest of drugs to pay that price. And I got all stoked when the first thing I saw coming onto Seibertron was "in stock". I would insist that the sellers with their f*cked prices kiss me first before payment, I like to be kissed before getting f*cked...'nuff said! :VEHI:

it looks wank compared to Takara 2010 Unicron anyways so its an easy pass. I mean wtf is up with the whole Baby Blue color? last time i checked unicron wasnt baby blue colored!

It just doesnt look anywere near as good as Takaras 2010 edition

Yes, but when you think about, it was kinda to be expected, since all of Hasbro's Unicron toys in recent years (Cybertron, Universe 2008, 3" Titanium, etc.) have been labeled as Decepticons. Maybe factionless toys don't sell as well Cons do?

I open mine, and enjoy them for the toys they are. So I just got one.

I hope that Amazon has made some deal with Hasbro for more. So folks do not have to pay scalpers for this figure.

They can use that mold as many time as they like. It's the best deluxe jet mold they've ever made.

Honestly I think they will have more available, I just have no way of knowing when, probably in October when it was originally scheduled for release, maybe sooner. I gotta think they produced it in numbers close to the online exclusive Seacons, which BBTS sold in batches at first.
