Ga-Rei is finally over!

It was really cool that the MoE and Tokusen 1 were working together. BUT... you know what would have been even cooler?

Do I even have to say it?

I don't think I need to at this point, do I Toru? Mmhmm.

I have started on the manga now.

I am seven chapters in... The approach reminds me so much of Neuro, but oh so slightly less weird. Kagura is so much prettier now.

The seriousness factor has gone way down and the horny teenager factor has gone way up. There are pantsu all over the place.

Sometimes it's okay, other times I want to facepalm myself to death. But it's been pretty enjoyable thus far.

On we go with the reading.

Awww, they're trying to be Natsuki and Toru, only with a moped and not quite so cool. Isn't it cute.

Yeah, I'm reading online. It's actually not too bad, it's really nothing at all like the anime and it was quite a shock, but it's pretty fun.

There are a few gruesome parts but it's mostly very light hearted. The demon lord that pops out of a seal below Tokyo has "I LOVE JAPAN!" tattooed across his chest. That's the kind of bizarre stuff that goes on, and reminds me so much of the Neuro manga.

I'll be reading another 13 chapters today, then we'll see how much more I need to get translated to be caught up.

As far as the original Japanese title in katakana goes it is presented without a break and many items from Japan is presentedwithout a space between the words.

I thought they were funny. Yes, horible but funny. And wasn't Mako a thug in the japanese version? I got a kick out of the pics. No clue why Moonie has fangs though.

And the misconceptions about Mako-chan continue.

She is athletic, strong, taller than average and able to hold her own in a fight. Dispite this the characters original think of her as a "Yankee" due to her height and that the uniform from her previous school (as Azabu Jūban didn't have one in her size) with the longer skirt resembles Yankee-ware. Coupled with a false rumor she was kicked out of her former school for fighting.

Yes she is the fighter/brawler of the inner Senshi, but no, she is not, nor was she, a thug.

Personally I think she is the sweetest of the bunch. But that's because she's my favourite and I'm terribly biased about everything, and see the world through rose coloured glasses.

That's the dueling aspects of Mako, Of the inner Senshi she is both the biggest Tomboy, and the most girly at times. It's why she has a ton of fans.

Personally she ranks third for me below Ami and Haruka.

Mako, then Ami then Usagi for me. Mako was always my favorite scout as a little kid.

She's my favorite scout too. She's tough on the outside, and can fight when she needs to, but has a heart of gold. Kind of like Hunk from Voltron, 'cept better looking.

Does anyone else see the Sailor Senshi Skirt/Tight top combo to be more of an aerodynamic thing rather than to attract pedophiles and pervs? If you ask me, you would go alot slower in a heavy sweater and a long skirt then a Mini-skirt and a tight sleeveless shirt.
