I've also noted that the bottom bots have been benefitting greatly from lopsided and one-sided battles. A lot of missions I've been in have been 4 on 2 or three 0n one, or all against no one. I prefer the latter two, as they seem to generate a 200+ exp haul versus the 100xp baseline genrated from having no one. There's also a trend in the lower levels, that the cons all seem to play in the mornings (for me, anyway) and the autobots at night, as most missions past 10pm EST end up with four bots or more agains nobody, and the morning/noonish missions end up with me agaisnt the whole wide world. Mostly, that's a a platewhuppin' though Trancross did manage to chase off a duo with his bleeding, oozing pulp once. (The mission time finished, he did more damage to the two of them than they did to him, he won). But that's been an issue since before me, which was before OS was the game-god. (WHo preceded him again?)

Anyway, so at this point, violent turnovers are par for the course. In the matter of an evening, TitanXP went from 4th to 11th spot, and is now heading back to the middle. I am surprised at how fast the ranks made it to each other. In my team, spots 1-11 are sperated by only 200 points. As I had hoped, what basically separates them now is one match, maybe two, dependent on how it goes. the 12 spot, held by Sea Bee, is 5k away, the others were already ahead of him and just pulled away, despite his chugging away at them. I'm tempted to try and just catch him up when the others are ready to jump to Level One, we'll see. I think I'll hold them back until 16K or so, unless someone thinks I should wait longer. As fast as their moving, 20k might be better and not that far off. I definately want to get into the better matches, but I also don't want to see the team be the new whipping boys in Level 1.
Another observation: A lot of mission battles since Friday last have been ending before anyone died. I've been winning such matches, so maybe it's just Autobot sportsmanship, but that hasn't happened to me this frequently ever.
And one more observation: Burn and Psychout are the best Mods this game has ever had! {but then, the system may be biased-Flash}

I usually only activate bots from the bottom 9, the top 3 get ignored. The difference between the top and bottom bot is usually 200 ~ 800 XP.
Quite a change from my original crew, the top bot was at level 8 while the bottom bot was level 5 IIRC.

I speak on behalf of the autobots who do not post. I think having a couple of guys come back to the game to help us out is really cool. Much needed support I think. Don't forget to check out Iacon and keep the activity going in there, treasure hunts galore.
Burn and Psychout, yea they are some pretty stand up guys. They will tell it how it is.
See you in the missions!

Three of my team have since gone their own way, due to just scoring a lot better than the others and now usually get priority when put in the missions, but for my other 9 team members the spread between highest and lowest is usually no more than 18,000 to 20,000 XP at most.
It gives me a bit more insight into the tweaks needed to keep the team competitive: it's noticeable when team members aren't pulling their weight, straggling and holding the whole team back.

I am running a modified team plan where there are 3-4 top guys that get preference, and the rest of the team is worked on from lower to higher. Started when the lower 8 were spread in the ranks between 600-1200, now they all between 280-500, so it's worked quite well.
Once I ran an Anime festival with over 6,000 attendees. Now... not so much.

What are you expecting?
You want me to blatantly call out Burn and Psychout for no apparent reason just because they are the mods and you think because I am "The {Rage bot}" that I have to make cute, quirky, and silly remarks about Burny and Psychy? Not on your life pal. I just don't do that sorta thing, call me crazy
but I really don't think they would appreciate that sorta thing, I mean this topic is about being observant and welcoming back our players who took a vacation from all that XP generating for crying out loud.Besides they are pretty cool because they say the truth and that is the type of skills you need to be a mod.

Yeah, I have found that during the day, I get a lot of no-competition battles, which means I get 100xp and turn around to do it again. And since the Number 12 spot doesn't turn over yet (though he;s closing fast), Number 1 and sometimes a few more don't get a lot of use until somebody get's lucky, shoots a con, and can bump them down, so I'll run them a time just to keep them "fresh". It defeats my ultimate purpose, but I can for one, not worry about their names going dead...

Ah, schmarty 'bot avoid provoking wrath of pseudogods unduly...
I'm starting to see that split too. I'm curious to see how far it goes as tactics and such evolve, right now though I'm more inclined to say it's all due to the Random Number Gods....I do know that as of right now, I'm actually finding it harder to keep track of everyone. Again, probably due to the low range of tactical setups in Level 0, maybe by the time I can get to the mid levels, where there's more choices to screw up where to put the points, I'll see who's consistantly lagging behind.alldarker wrote:Even with an average level of 5 I also still put my team in starting with the bottom scores.

It's interesting, hhearing and seeing what I figured, (and has been done before but beyond my memory) will work as well as I had hoped for. I was partially afraid I;d just end up turning over the #5-12 only.

Oooh if only I’d come along and seen that before the lock.
I actually spent last Christmas in A&E for four days due to a little drinking bender I went on. I’d gone down London to spend it with my fiancé’s family and I went on a drinking bender with Sarah’s brother.
I went out drinking with Tom and one drink turned to a dozen and before we knew it me and him we’re absolutely smashed. Long story short on the second day of drinking we’d just about replaced all our blood with alcohol and went back home ending up in their village local. We were just going in for a couple more drinks before heading back to the in laws when I took a little knock. I basically wobbled into the road and got run down by a car, thankfully I was too drunk to feel much, until ofc I woke the day after that in A&E.
I’d got a severe concussion , two broken ribs and 4 broken fingers and a broken arm, plus a fair few cuts and bruises. I couldn’t figure out if it was worse getting run over or about a life time of abuse from my wife to be haha.
I’d like to say I’ve now sworn off the demon drinking … but yeah I haven’t hahaha

Umm, near as I can tell, the Maximals got ran over and remerged into their ranks, as were the Predacons, though I see three holdouts (likely who stopped playing and didn't get the memo) in the faction tallies, and their's no more game-god, so when it breaks, it's broked. Also, we're out of guns worth being out of.
Beyond that, the old crew seems to have cycled out and is slowly working back in, the new crew from when I left are the new old crew, and a bunch of new crew have come in. I've seen a few names I've recognized in missions, off the top of my head I can only think of Sharpwing, can't speak for the cons.
