Another BotCon Figure Surfaced - Repaint of Beast Wars Megatron

Seibertron member El Duque has informed us that Chinese toy merchant - iGear has listed an auction for an unknown BotCon 2010 figure.
This figure is a blue Dinosaur, possibly a repaint from a Deluxe class Beast Megatron figure. No identity has been given to this figure, it is assume that this figure is paying homage to G2 Grimlock.

"Possibly" a repaint of possibly a repaint from a Deluxe class Beast Megatron figure? It most certainly is that. To be exact it's the deluxe Beast Wars 10th Anniversary figure, which was repainted for Cybertron.
I must say the colors surprise me, especially the blue. Can't be Grimlock, he's already represented in the overal timeline in his Classics form. Not that I don't appreciate the possible homage there.

I kind of like it. I had the Blue Grimlock and for whatever reason I liked having a blue dinosaur. Wish i could get this guy but I'm not paying a fortune for him.

Yeah, not what I expected. But I'll take it. It matches up with the set though. Just not the original namesake of the character.

Again, another mold that, IMO, needs to be used. I love my regular Divebomb and the ShadowHawk one too. Great alt modes and incredibly articulated bot mode. I need moar meow!!

The only other figures that even come close to resembling this blue T-Rex mold are:
Deathsaurus (a dragon),
Landsaur (from Magmatron),

Considering the THEME of BotBon '10 is G2, isn't G2 Grimlock (a blue T-Rex) the obvious choice?

Irrelevant to this topic, but in IDW's continuity Grimlock gains his T-rex alt mode by technoorganic means. He didn't become a purely robotic dino until Shockwave blasted off all his organic flesh.

I sat through the whole "Beast Wars" series a few months ago and i just couldnt really get into it. Not that it was bad, it was just weird. I bought the classics universe Dinobot cause I liked his additude on the series. But other than him, I stay away from Beast Wars stuff. If this isnt a freebee im gonna pass it up at Botcon.
