From my little experience of using them - marginally better than X-ray lasers but not worth sinking an upgrade point into firepower and double the cost.

hmmmm... I'm of mixed opinion of them. I picked up a few recently and reset three of my bots to use them (spd:1 frp:1 Avoid:2) and found the pure avoiders with x rays seemed to be doing better.

I was just wondering if the strength of the HSLB is that it is well modified by strength possibly? Or just no good for lvl 0 and requires more stats to make the most of it.

I'll soldier on for a bit longer though. Could just be the RNG making fun of me :p

weapons are not as complicated as everyone thinks.

and no the HSLB aren't a decent weapon, though for some reason they are popular.

Because they're relativly cheap.

Because they have the possibility of doing "Heavy" damage. (whatever thats really worth)

Because most people don't know what the actual recharge times on weapons are. *cough*losers*cough*

Because with all the good weapons gone, people will try anything they see other people doing.

That's all I could think of.

you know I've been tempted to do the same in hopes the masses go "ooh why are they selling out, they must be good" and then selling them off to the cons, and thus arm my comrades with superiror weaponry.....

Well, yes. All my guys bar one are config'd for BB's as it is. And I've only been spending energon on armour recently (for recently, read the last year) so I have a wee bit of surplus ^_^
