I know that nobody probably reads this anymore and I've tried posting in the bug thread.

Is anyone else experiencing issues with armor? I'm unable to add any armor to any of my team. I've even tried resetting them and still get the same issues.

Its leaving some of my team exposed as they are armorless.

Attached is a picture of the error message. I can't see that I'm doing anything wrong.

Is the armor installation error going to be ongoing long-term?

11 out of my 12 bots have armor, but I know others are going to be feeling the hurt a lot (a low level bot used to be able to survive a Magnus Hammer hit from a level 11 bot :HEADHURTS:

Ryan said in the bug report thread he was going to look into it but that was over a week ago. Will just have to wait it out, I’ve also got a bot running around without armour too :BOOM:

100% certain Ryan forgot about this 12 hours after failed to easily fix it.

There's a list of things that have broken over the years (or never worked in the first place); wouldn't be surprised if the armor problem sticks around. HMW always was a passion project that what's-his-name -- was it Vir? Venthir? I know it started with a "V" -- dumped into Ryan's lap all those decades ago and disappeared off the face of the earth. And Heavy Metal War doesn't make him money (gotta make a living).

It gets him page hits and advertising from links on the pages, not as much as it used and will make more from the eBay store but think it used to make enough to keep the site fees and server running

Vir4030 - yeah, he set up the base game but was already gone by the time I joined.

1 more thing gone for good? One can hope but hostory doesn’t bode well. Really I am surprised the game still exists props to Ryan for that…most other web based games i started playing back in college have all long since vanished.

I've had the same issue for the past couple of weeks you would think the administrators would of fixed this by now

I have no idea what the issue is, nor the ability to do anything about it.

Out of curiosity though, What have you lot broken this time?

I've not reset anyone on my team in a decade so have no use for it.

Would have fixed this.

If we had an admin, they'd have been on it.
As we are now, we have to wait for Ryan to find time to look at the ancient chiseled stone tablets the HMW code was carved into and work out WTF he could do to fix it, but we're not high priority. Or any priority to be honest.
