This was some mix of white flour, leaveners, spices, etc. And yes, I did typo the "a" in "bao". Damn iPhone.

Very interesting. Was it a pre-mixed flour? If you're interested in trying to make bao, I could PM you the recipe my mom uses.

And don't worry about the typo as I've seen "bao" spelled a few different ways in English, none of which can properly convey its pronunciation, hehe.

All of the above, yes. But I would only really consider City Commander something to brag about... however, they are all awesome and very photogenic figures.

Hehe, well one person knows at least! For anyone who doesn't know, you should try some bao the next time you go to a Chinese restaurant that serves something aside from the standard Chinese American fare.

Awesome! They're probably my favorite chinese dish right now. My girlfriend's chinese, and although she doesn't make those herself, she knows all the good places to get them. It helps that there's a huge asian community around here, so there's tons of pretty authentic restaurants.

I got antsy and seeing the only other thing on pre-order has been pushed back (Disney Label Donald) and seeing Device Ravage was in my loot pile, I decided not to wait. Between waiting for those and my order from Cobrastickers to Cobra-up my Dragonhawk chopper. It could be a fun week.

We do have enough here for a meet-up it's just a question of when and where really. I know for work and Convention planning that I'm a bit busy the next few weeks. So there is time if you want to hit that ship my order button, your Magnus can be in full "Deal with that now" mode in time.

Yeah this time of year's usually busy for most people. So yeah, I'm sure my City Commander will have plenty of time to "Deal with this" later.

Man, I've got Device Label Ravage waiting too, and a few other figures I've been waiting a long time to add to my collection. Well, hopefully soon, unless Alternity Bee gets delayed. Then I'm hittin' that ship button ASAP.

I finally managed to grab a full set of Wave 4 Cybertron Versus Minicons. For $75. Which was a great price. All the rest I've seen have went for $90-$120 MOSC.

I also got a Nemesis Breaker, which was one the harder Voyagers to find from Cybertron, for $41 MISB.

I'm now only a handful of legends, and one Galaxy Force Vector Prime away from a full US run.

I don't have any crazy rare figures. Can you believe I used to be proud about owning Masterpiece figures? Oh, how times have changed.

It always sucks when some of the cooler things to army build are exclusives or hard to get.

If Down_Shift has a couple left over, I may army-build with Swerves.

I really don't see the hype for this figure. I got one when it first came out cost me 85 dollars shipped. I sold it off about 6-9 months later for about 150 and was happy and suprized to get that. Just goes to show that a figure is only lworth what you will pay for it. Personally I would never pay 350 for one of them.

I wish I lived close enough to attend these hangouts. Getting to hang out and alternately brag about what we've gotten once a year @ Botcon simply doesn't cut it! For serious.
