I was honestly wondering if y'all still did these.
What would be your preferred way to handle pretender characters in a modern toyline?
Now that we've got everyone's wish of tidal wave, what's the next titan? Do they retire it?

I see it’s been quite awhile since anyone has asked y’all a question, and I figured that I would go with an age old Transformers question. Who became Cyclonus? Bombshell or Skywarp?

Who's your favorite cybertronian that wears another cybertronian on their chest/breast?

Since we are doing questions.
What is the rarest piece of print media, emphasis on guides and encyclopedias but all inclusive, that the Twincast members own?
Bonus points if it's the Machine Robo Wedge book; I am looking at you Scotty!

I'm glad I looked at this about a week before the next recording because I'm going to have to think hard about that. I know what the general answer is (several actual one-of-a-kind things) but am probably going to be disappointing on the guide/encyclopedia front tbh.
Not familiar with that MR book but it looks like it has a reprint coming, might hop on that https://www.play-asia.com/machine-robo- ... /13/70hjdb

I genuinely don't know what in here is "rare" these days
Maybe the MP guide? Don't think that's been reprinted.

You are a true gentleman for this.

I don't know how i missed this but i took the katakana from the listing you had and pasted it into AJP.
They had the preorder up and i have it secured.
Thank you again!

MP guide is a good one. Too bad it was almost outdated at the time of printing. Never understood why they didn't do a follow up series of them.
I have 2 short boxes and multiple stacks of odd ends of guides and a mix of hardcover books as well.
Years ago, i went through the guides listing on the wiki and just went down the whole list, buying each as i come across them.
Some deals, some accidental doubles, some amazing scores. Lots of great info.
Lots of interesting stuff from JG1 to BW2/ Neo and on through the UT and TFA.
A few sites besides AJP have made it easier than my normal GoogleFu, Surugu-ya has been one recently filling in a lot of gaps.
I sent a quick pic to Mark of the recent scores and he bugged out, lol.
I have also included some OTFCC/ Early Botcon fan guides in the mix as well.
Oh yes, Diaclone, Brave/ GGG and Eldran, as well.
Thanks again for taking the time to consider the question and look forward to what may get brought up.

Good call on the TF Wiki list, buried as it is. I didn't know there was a Robotmasters book and now I kind of want that!

I might have a double of that. If i do, it's yours; gratis.
But yeah, the guide list is good but i have found some gaps that will be included once i have time.
There is a lot of good things in there that are just lost to time and don't charge much on the backend to get a copy.
I am pushing away from buying the all B&W books as i am noticing some yellowed edging on the pages of certain books due to the lack of a clearcoat on the page; regardless of acid-free long term storage materials.

A question that's always on my mind, especially as we head into 100 optimuses for 40, how do you decide when and what to downsize? Do you have any rules on what you keep/limit purchases to? How much display space do you allow?

2nd, Bump of Chicken is a joke wordplay on Chicken Butt. I am not into the band but I did do some research when the BB repaint came out and this was the info I got.

Hello! Considering on the last podcast there was a lot of discussion on the importance of ankle tilts, I have a hot take for you all. Forward/backward ankle tilt is much more important than inward ankle tilt. I'm much happier posing my RTS Jazz than his SS86 counterpart, and I know I'd be able to get my Siege Megatron into much better poses if he just had that forward backward motion.
All Hail Lord Starscream!

As far as I know, the RED line is dead. I think this was a missed opportunity for the Pretenders. They could have made the Pretender shells in the RED style and material and they have the inner robot as a traditional Transformer. What would be you're best solution for pretenders?

Hi Scotty, hi guys
I love the show. I love seibertron.com. I appreciate you guys.
Since they’re redoing the combiners, do you think they are going to redo the Seacons? Should they? Aren’t they really accurate?
Since there is that one episode when the auto bots pretended to be the Stunticons, do you think they’re going to repaint the Stunticons in the Autobot colors? Should they?
Thanks!

Hi Scotty, thanks for the shoutout and the love! I appreciated it! I like hearing everyone’s thoughts, I think you guys have a great perspective on Transformers, so if you had answered the question without mentioning my username I would’ve really enjoyed it, but the shoutout was an extra bonus, thanks!
“Why aren’t you at your post?” That cracked me up! Well done sir, well done! I too had noticed the similarity in the past but I wasn’t expecting you to make that reference. Sounds like you are also a fan of Star Wars! Interesting, entertaining, and fun/educational shows! Thanks Scotty, thanks Twincast!

Re: Ask the Twincast ... post your Listener Questions here!
1. In fiction do you prefer Galvatron as the evolution/upgrade of Megatron? Or like in the IDW run do you prefer when Megatron and Galvaltron are two separate characters?
2. If you were in charge of the fiction, at any point in time, is there anything that you would have done differently? Or anything you would have liked to have seen? Or is there anything you would like to see that hasn’t been done before?

Hello twincast, Really enjoy the show. My question is have any of you been able to actually operate or drive a vehicle that transformer has been based on? My answer is that for a couple years I operated the vehicle that was used as Bonecrusher (MPCV Buffalo) in the 2007 live action film. Looking forward to your answers. Keep up the good work.
A fan,
Jason
