I know that Grand Maximus is one of the rarest Transformer figures ever created, but as you see hes not even fully complete. Even with The Mastersword i think that is a little to much. Would you buy him for so much?

That looks a little steep, but I don't know what Grand Max is pulling in now either.

Before the movie, I've seen him get ALMOST 1000 on eBay.
With the hype of the movie, it's no suprise at all.

I'm pretty sure he had that listed a couple of weeks ago for the same price. I guess nobody wanted to pay that much for it then. I wonder about now?

To fair eBay is almost always overpriced.

If the box and toy were in good condition then yeah, that would be a fare price. However the box looks bashed up so yes it is very overpriced.

I got a MISB Grand Max about 2 years ago for 500 and then sold it on ebay a week later for 1300 so I would have to say that this guy is overpricing a lot!

While we're on this topic, what does everyone think is a fair price for a MIB Fortress Maximus?

I have bought a few items from the seller.

While sometimes overpriced, you can count on him shipping it to you quickly and safely.

I looked at that. Grand Max is an awesome figure and hard to find complete. If I had an extra $2,000 I'd do it...

Because the toy's like 20 years old?
Because in Japan, room is so limited that parents get rid of large toys sooner than American parents do, possibly resulting in a good deal of these having been dumpstered?
Because it's a rare version of the LARGEST TRANSFORMER EVER?
Because it was the only version with a Pretender shell?

Ummm... Dude that's not what I meant. I understand the rarity of this figure. I was just curious, that if most people thought that this was overpriced, what they thought it should go for.

My Grand Max was MISB and all Grand Max figures Came with the Master sword now I think what is being asked is a little high opened and missing a few things should lower the price to about 1000. As I said before mine sold for 1300 but it was sealed.

Hmmm ... well it looks like the 1500$ isnt that bad then.
But i rather use that lot of money on a complete Brest-force set and Starsaber.
