I'm working on a little personal project I want to make certain that I have at least a basic grasp of the Decepticons' basic "plan of conquest" in the IDW universe, based on what's been revealed since Infiltration.

Phase 1 - Infiltration: Setting up a base, taking on local forms for camoflauge (usually vehicles), locating/kidnapping natives in influential or critical position and planting facsimilies of said native, and investigating any promising natural resoruces for later exploitation

Phase 2 - Escalation: Stoke tensions between the native tribes or nations using the facsimilies and direct action by the Decepticons themselves

Phase 3 - Currently unrevealed

Phase 4/5 - "Seige Mode": I don't believe much has been revealed of either stage, but I gather these involve conquest of the population, exploitation of natural resources, and preparation of any military response from the Autobots.

Phase 6 - Annihalation: Basically just sending Sixshot in to destroy whatever's left once the Decepticons have taken everything considered of value from the planet.

Wow! I really want to see a definative list of the Decepticon Phase plan also. So is "Devastation" a plan? I think that is the SixShot Phase, which ever it is. Didn't SixShot say he is 5-6 in terms of Phases? Maybe you could call Phase 5 "Devastation" because Megs does specifically ask for it by name. Then the SixShot def. would go there, and Annihalation/Phase 6 is something else.

I don't think we've seen Annihalation yet. It better involve an Ore-13 energon binge and at least half the 'cons forgetting their designations the next morning. :twisted:

Okay, so I checked the Infiltration series, and I now see that Phase 5 involves "Seige Mode." That leaves Phases 3 & 4 to be determined (although I think Furman knows what they are).

It wouldn't surprise me if Sixshot is involved somehow with Phase 5, though I think it would be on a more controlled basis. Phase 6 would be him actually cutting loose.

I also don't think the Decepticons have specific titles for each phase, beyond "Phase #." What I put down is just a basic description.
