I'm trying to collect information about the widespread phenomenon of broken Siege Slamdance toys. If anyone reading this has a broken Slamdance toy, I'd appreciate your help.
I see that fans are sharing the date code stamped on the Alphastrike Counterforce box, but that only indicates when the packaging was made. What we really need to do is collate the date code stamped on the toy itself, which indicates what day it was manufactured. I'm interested in knowing whether all of these toys come from the same bad batch, or whether toys manufactured over multiple days share the same problem.
So the date code is on the inside of the right foot. Mine is 91291. The way you read the date code is as follows: The first digit (the 9 in my case) is the year the toy was produced (2019). The 129 means the toy was manufactured on the 129th day of the calendar year (in this case, May 19th). The last number is a check digit that we don't need to concern ourselves with.
Ideally, I'd like to gather a small sampling of date codes here. To those who have toys that are definitely not broken (and assuming you've actually handled them and transformed them), feel free to post your date codes as well so we can compare them against the broken toys.
Thanks in advance for everyone's cooperation and participation.
