Attrib point or skill point - which matters more?

Postby DorkimusPrime » Tue Sep 18, 2007 10:11 am

I'm kinda a newb to the game (my TFormers are all lvl0 and lvl1) and I think I've done a pretty good job of using resources in the forums an figuring some stuff out on my own, but for skills (like Ram, Avoid, Repair, and Strafe) I can't figure out which type of point to use my experience on - If I want to get a transformer good at ramming, should I put my points into Ram or Strength, aside from 1 of each?

You're going to want to go with Strength first, as it will be more generally useful (it will increase the amount of armor you can equip and the amount of unarmed damage you do as well as your Ram damage). At your level, you get more bang for your XP buck out of attributes. Most will recommend you keep your Strength and Ram scores about even, with Strength taking precedence.

OK, that's kinda what i've been doing. Like 4STR and 3 or 4RAM depending on how much XP i have available. I've been going STR-RAM-STR-RAM on my rammers, and SPEED-AVOID-FRP-STRAFE on my jets and cars.
