I'm definitely liking Voyager Megs so far, but I probably won't get the Leader one.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Autobot N wrote:How are you liking him so far?D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Neat! I just got that figure myself, along with a few others!
Just got them all transformed for the first time. Both Megatron's have something very different to love, but they are both fantastic!
I wouldn't put him too high on the priority list. He's cool and all, but he's kinda loose and the cannon weighs him down a lot.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Dangit, you found the deluxe.
Maybe tomorrow... maybe...

As for the rest of them, Twintwist is just Topspin (who was one of the better deluxes) and Misfire is pretty awesome (though not as good as Triggerhappy), but Windblade... I mean, she's good, but she's got some issues. The swords, for one, are pretty bad, and I wish they'd just given her a seat gun while still giving her a regular sword. The head is slightly wobbly (probably due to her being derived from Scourge and Highbrow), but my main issue is with the proportions. It's a combination of the really thick legs (seriously, her thighs are almost as thick as her waist) and her really skinny arms. It's not horrible, but it's really awkward.
Complaints aside, I do like her, but I really wish her legs were better proportioned.
Yeah, Windblade's face is really nice, and Misfire and Twintwist are both excellent figures.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:And I am looking forward to that wave of TR. I like Windblade for her face mainly. and Twintwist will look great with the Wreckers. and Misfire with his MTMTE crew
Oh I cannot wait for them!Autobot N wrote:Yeah, Windblade's face is really nice, and Misfire and Twintwist are both excellent figures.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:And I am looking forward to that wave of TR. Autobot N wrote:Personally, I'm really looking forward to Scorn and Nitro Zeus.
I'm waiting for mine to arrive at BBTS so I can ship them and Siege at the same time.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Autobot N wrote:Personally, I'm really looking forward to Scorn and Nitro Zeus.
Same. Mine arrive Friday (but I'll be away) so I will get to open them next week. I am really really looking forward to Nitro Zeus. I like him a lot more than I should as a character and toy look.
And dang, did all my pre-orders time badly. They all came in within a week of each other, and then HTS got its stock in. I have like 20-25 transformers total between HTS, TFsource, BBTS, and TRU over the course of a week!
That's what I did with Godbomber. I cannot wait to combine him with MagnusAutobot N wrote:I'm waiting for mine to arrive at BBTS so I can ship them and Siege at the same time.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Autobot N wrote:Personally, I'm really looking forward to Scorn and Nitro Zeus.

I would have pre-ordered Godbomber, but I had expected him to be in one of the 2 remaining box sets, and by the time we got word that those were cancelled, all the pre-orders were sold out. Thankfully, he's something I can live without.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:That's what I did with Godbomber. I think I looked after SDCC.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Autobot N wrote:I would have pre-ordered Godbomber, but I had expected him to be in one of the 2 remaining box sets, and by the time we got word that those were cancelled, all the pre-orders were sold out. He was in stock at BBTS back in July, that's how I got him. As soon as I found out we were not getting the other 2 box sets yet and Godbomber would not be with them, I bought him. 4th of July actually.

I'm just excited to have a version of the PMOP mold with regular hands and ankle tilts. Those were the only two things that I wish the original had. And Metalhawk, that guy's pretty cool.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Autobot N wrote:I think I looked after SDCC.
That explains it then. I needed him. It's the main reason I was so excited for Magnus Prime. I don't even know why I really got the set or wanted it in the first place (Clones completion and Metalhawk and Thunderwing probably)
I'm glad I waited it out to get a version of the mold. I wasn't overly thrilled with the original though I like the Magnus mold, and now I will get one that can combine. That makes this whole thing so cool and anticipated by meAutobot N wrote:I'm just excited to have a version of the PMOP mold with regular hands and ankle tilts. His feet just felt kinda clunky, and with how thick his legs were, it would have been nice if he had ankle tilts so he could spread out a little bit.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Autobot N wrote:Magnus was pretty good, though he really needed ankle tilts and better hands.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:I'm glad I waited it out to get a version of the mold. On that we both agree, though I didn't mind his feet.
I loved how big the feet were. It gave him a really solid base to stand on. Still does too. But I feel you with the spread the thick legs some thingAutobot N wrote:His feet just felt kinda clunky, and with how thick his legs were, it would have been nice if he had ankle tilts so he could spread out a little bit.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Autobot N wrote:Magnus was pretty good, though he really needed ankle tilts and better hands.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:I'm glad I waited it out to get a version of the mold. I suppose clunky wasn't the right word to use. I was fine with the size, but I didn't really like that they were hollow.D-Maximus_Prime wrote:I loved how big the feet were.
