The problem has always been the same: there's a good number of bots who are casual players & simply put their bots wherever they want w/o much thought.

If u want to coordinate, i'd suggest giving solutions rather than simply throw rocks at the problem.

Possible solutions:
IM coordination
Post missions in a new Iacon thread requesting backup
Others?

As for my bots, they'll back up anyone who's outnumbered.

As for my fellow players, while everyone's at level 0, now is the time to use the missions to gain xp. Jump in now, b/c as soon as the cons hit level 1, it's gonna be harder to earn decent xp.
So don't jump into the arena. :wink:

I've been following devs example. I thorw my bots in where needed in missions. If I see another bot getting trounced upon by over-whelming odds, I'm adding my bots to that fray to help them out.

Sure, it's not always tactically sound, but two targets or 4 against 6 are far better odds and can make for alot more exp gain for the bots.

Not at all. Heck the reset is just the jumpstart(er) I've needed.
I'd pulled back with all the V2 reset talk and was waiting to swap factions. But as V2 kept getting delayed more and more it was an "if I think about it" type thing.
Heck, with this reset I'm seeing some of the changes that were being discussed as far as alt classes/tactic combos. We're looking at a new golden age.

New to the game, but started out as a bot and I'm sticking to it.
I've got my chats running in the background and am here M-Th 9pm to midnight usually.

I moonlight as freelance web dev/etc, so I run this in the background while I do my work. Always up for a chat or such so PM me or hit me on a chat. I'm always willing to co-ord for a 6 man raid on the missions.

I have returned. Work started blocking it so I laid low for a while. Now it seems to be back. So I should be playing more often now. Things got stale, people left, interest in the game decreased. I am hoping the reset will renew interest again. With that, then people return and new life with be breathed back into the Autobots.

It it true, we are getting crushed right now. We can turn that around. We have been given a fresh chance to build things up from the ground up. If we do not act fast, then we will laid to waste and miss our golden opportunity.

I'm sure most of you have noticed, but there is a Kaon vs Altigon war going on in the HMW:GD. It would be great if we could get more Autobot participation in there. Its pretty simple. Just talk like you are in character for what ever member of your team. There are planty of examples to follow in there. I would love to see the Ineptibots in action to see how well Narcaleptic Stuntcar would fair.

It's funny. Mkall told me the game was reset... I figured I'd try it again for a few days, and then go back to AE.

I dunno though - the game feels almost exactly like it did when I first joined God knows how many years ago. What was that, back in '03? I'm not sure. Either way, I started out getting my ass kicked - and I'm getting my ass kicked yet again. And me being me, getting my ass kicked only makes me more determined to kick some ass myself. Revenge is an extraordinarily powerful motivator.

So I'm back, for real this time. I don't know nor care how it happened, but my drive to play has returned. It's time to frag some Decepticons... and if any of them beasties get in the way - they'll have to be put down too. I never wanted to be anything else other than an Autobot. I'm sticking with this faction until the bitter end. I want to see how HMW will evolve without the glitches, the abusive players, and the forum drama. Let's see just how great we can make the game.

It feels good to be back again. Even better since the Autobots seem to be building momentum over the last three days. My Autobots are poised at the treshhold of the Top 1500 'Bot Ranks, and are only going to go up from here.
