As things currently stand we have 6 players signed up to the Cons 8.

I'd be surprised if S.o.L. & turbomagnus didn't sign up. *edit- Just heard from turbo, he's not doing this round

Light Metal, Amelie, Ziusundra, & Kaijubot are at least somewhat forum active (I'll try giving them all a prod) but for now let's go off the assumption we'll get to pick 3 drone players.
Who should they be?

All of the players on this list are eligible.

Beyonder, _Anshin_, Riot Riverman, & Dragonslayer seem to be inactive

shabanowitz, Crashinibon, & Cutie Creeper are only occasionaly active

Greatness, Cheetron, & Victori are fairly active but don't post

Assuming nobody else signs up this is my thought of the order in which we should pick drone players:

1 S.o.L. **edit: signed up so nevermind
2 Greatness
3 turbo *edit: Turbo said he won't be around much, just FYI
4 Cheetron
5 Victori
6 Ziusundra

Anyone have any thoughts or volunteering to stalk drone players to record their scores?

Nice data gathering, it definitely helps put the current map in perspective.

Greatness and Cheetron would seem to be the better options for fielding as 'drones'. I'm still of the opinion that we should ALL track the drones, as this ought to give us a better coverage to actually capture their points.
Who gets to update a post with the drone's points in the main thread? I'll pass.

Thanks TT, I knew my help would grow on ya eventually

Another update: Heard from Kaijubot and he's not going to be an active player but is aware of the event and purposely has qualifying Alts so he can be a drone option.

I'm cool with all of use tracking and then some of us having posting duty.

I'm gonna be spotty over the weekend due to RL obligations but I can take one of them and just update it Tuesday when I update my weekend kills.

Since I am still on the lower end I will try to keep tabs on the L3 and below characters. I will be a bit occupied today though with real life stuff on my day off.

This round is officially underway and still no decision on a drone commander.
I think Turbomagnus & Greatness are our two best options.
Turbo has better characters overall but Greatness may be playing more depending on how much RL keeps Turbo away from the game.
I'm soon to hit the hay but if nobody else has any input over the next 8-ish hours I'm just gonna make a decision as "Ranking Commander" (see all my purty ribbons :lol:

)

My vote goes to using Greatness as a drone, first. He performs fairly well and has a decent level spread. ;)^

As far as tracking them, I still agree with TT that everyone should try to do this to an extent. I'm free over the weekend and can do as much monitoring/claim reporting as possible. Gives me a breather from the onslaught of papers I have to write :lol:

Greatness would be decent for me to keep track for his lower levels. Turbo would have been near impossible for me to track.

We might need some clarification on that, as in past rounds the target hasn't needed to be signed up to count as a hit, so long as the one doing the hit is signed up.

I concur.
Kills of ANY valid alt, whether their commander is signed up or not, counts.
The real question I have is whether ALL bites count or just bites against valid targets.
I already sent the question to Psych do hopefully I'll have a clarification soon.

Sounds like Greatness is our first drone pick.

Since I was on last adamsafran joined on the Con side so I guess we can pick a second drone or figure his participation is enough of a liability for the Cons & not bother :lol:

You sign up so your points count and format one of your characters to an eligible alt so that it ensures there are at least some targets for the other team.

Looking at some of the other claims already made, any bite seems to be the way the crowd is going.

He could if he had an alt mode that counted on his team (he doesn't) and we signed him up to be a drone (we didn't)

Speaking of: I signed up Greatness & will start up a tracking thread here but who are we picking for our second drone now?

Also Psych has clarified that ALL bites count on ANY victim not just specified Alts
