Yeah the AWC has been pretty much on life support for a while now. With the reset, this may be the perfect time to get it off of life support. For those of you who are interested, contact me. I have the info that you need. I will be sending out an email from the AWC site soon.

The reset and renewed interest in the game. Things got stale. It was on "life-support" because things got old. Things were set in place. It was hard to move up in rankings. Same people dominating the rankings and missions. Now that everyone has been reset, everyone is now on the same playing field. That means new chances for growth and new people will emerge. The AWC has been around for most of the game. Some may see it as the old regime. I see it as a new opportunity. A new opportunity to become the organization that it was intended to be. The AWC is one of the few constants left over from before the reset. I plan on starting the AWC completely over. The only constant right now is me running the show in the beginning to get things going, since all organizaions need a head. As enrollment and participation increases, we will be working on structure to gel things together. We will look to constantly help out our fellow Autobot that is in need.

Well, whaterver is going to happen needs to happen soon. I'm all for revamping the AWC and making it mean something again, but we need to talk less and do more. I agree that this reset certainly seems to have rekindled the fire in some players (including yours truly). But we need to have a plan of action before the 'Cons and everyone else get too far ahead of us. I'm just worried that the formation of the ASF in concurrence(sp?) with the AWC will cause a schism between the Autobots.

As it stands, I'm representing both the AWC and ASF, but we're all Autobots, one way or another :BOT:

When you're part of a group that has a head, and you have been the head of the AWC for as long I remember, then the group will show interest if the head shows interest. From what people have been telling me, you haven't been around. I'm not trying to knock you or anything, I'm just stating the facts as they have been told to me.

I joined the AWC in it's infant stages. I had to leave. I came back and rejoined the AWC. I got a squad and tried to make it something. No one responded. Either the members of my squad, or my superiors. There was no reason to respond, even a year and a half ago. I had to leave. Now I'm back. Why should any of us join/rejoin/continue to be a part of the AWC?

Well I had other priorities other than the game in the past year or so. I have been finishing up school this past December, got a new job in January, bought a house, moved to a new state, recently got engaged. I am sorry that I haven't been there, but real life took priority. My work had this unblock for a while then ended up blocking., but recently unblocked it again. Time will tell if it stays that way.

Why should people join/rejoin/continue with the AWC? Everything starts new. Now that everyone is back down to Level 1 or 0, depending how much you have been playing since the reset, it gives the AWC a chance to start new as well. It gives us a chance to wipe the slate clean and get rid of the old stigma the AWC had. I can promise you that I will show just as much interest in the AWC like I did in its heyday. It was just hard the past year with real life really taking over. Now that things have settled, I can get back on track with the AWC.

I am not trying to discourage you from starting up the Autobot Strike Force. By all means go with it. Let there be variety on which group to join, if thats the way some people want to go. I don't want it to feel like its all AWC or nothing. Some commanders feel comfortable with other groups and crowds.

Well I heard about the reset and ticked off that I was on vacation when it happened...I lost both Bumblebee (to a CON) and Optimus Prime.

Needless to say...like EP I've been MIA (hell most of my friends on the board have left too I think) for awhile. But I'm still here and ready to see where this reset can take us.

And no one knows about real life situations that take you from the game more than I. But with you gone EP, the AWC sorta fizzled out didn't it? You're back, that's great. That doesn't mean that the problems I saw with the AWC, and the problems that happened afterwords, are gonna be fixed. Having a central leader isn't gonna work. When that leader has to step out for RL ****, then who's there to take command? No one...

And thats why I am doing things different this time. Me as the central leader isn't going to last that long. Only until things get back up to speed. If something happens before that, then I appoint interim leader or something of the sorts. We aren't going to have the same problems as last time. We will fix them as a group.

Most of them were members before, as was Stryfe Convoy back in the day. No one ever came to me about starting the AWC back up. No matter. We can coexist with them.

How could anyone jumpstart the AWC without being a mod, or site admin? The AWC has been your baby for so long, no one else except maybe Crazyfists would have enough admin rites, let alone pull with the members. What were they supposed to do? And I say they, cause I am obviously not in the AWC anymore... and I don't agree with the rules for joining either. The AWC has been acting like the Autobot Elite, even though it's coasting in it's own HQ... The Autobots need to be unified. All the ASF is here to do so help those in need. We have the communications that allow this. Making a few of our members mods on CE and giving the ASF a little spot on CE isn't enough to get the job done.

Two seconds to give admin rights. Simple as that. I leave, I leave someone in charge. In the past that was the rest of the High Council. That consisted of CF and Dev as of lately. Used to be more previously. A simple email would have sufficed since I can get them from CE. And now since you have brought something from CE through a middleman, I am ending the conversation before this spirals out of control and people end up getting band by bringing clan business to the site.
