So for the first time in almost two years I have space to put up shelves to put my toys on display. As I'm sorting through the G1 stuff, I get to Metroplex. An amazing toy, but slightly disappointing; I always imagined Autobot City being so much bigger and grandiose.

The solution? Just connect all my cityformers/bases/etc together (as cleanly as I can, anyway) to create a real Autobot City!

Forgive the use of my messy bed; with all the boxes and such, that was actually the biggest flat surface I have at the moment. Also, Countdown's rocket base comes with a helipad that allows the rocket to connect proper - I do have it, just forgot it in the bag of accessories. I think using it as a bridge works better for the visual, though.

Nothing particularly incredible, just a few random (and badly lit) shots.

Gotta dig that liiiightpiping! This was the result of me messing with his kibble to make it look like a flight mode.

Also, Backstop's altmode is much better off without that ugly hand in the way. Funny thing is, the elbow happens to be a 5mm hole, sooo this happened.

I'm kinda surprised they never repainted protoform Starscream or Optimus during the whole trilogy. Besides the typical Seekers/Random Adjective repaints, they'd make for decent generics.
