Evolution of G1, where I compare between G1 toys and the toys that have come out since then homaging the character or toy.

Gnaw, aka Sharkticon. And here is the figure upgrading his form in an homage as Energon Sharkticon.

G1 Thrust and Gentai! Gentai! Thrust

G1 Topspin and DOTM Topspin (both are part of the Wreckers, so I totally see it as an evolution of the character)

G1 Springer and Generations Springer

With Arcee, Chromia, Windblade out, and Strongarm coming out, I felt like sharing my own personal favorite female Transformer. Strika! More specifically, Nemesis Strika. No obnoxious high-heel feet, no super model proportions, and no motorcycle alt-mode. Just bulk, scowl, and missile launchers!

So... the 80s cartoon exploded on my shelf.

The lineup just didn't feel complete without Bumblebee. Can hardly believe I finally have one!

And this guy is still as perfect as ever.

They're all out of this world. Hat's off to Hasui for persuading Takara to do these in scale. It's much more fun than a bunch of stand-alone figures. (and for talking them into green-lighting lesser known characters.)

Also, I found Huffer's evil uncle.

BBTS is not Canadian and will never make a Boxing day sale. Also, on Black Friday, the price remained the same. So, 240$US plus 50-75$US of shipping (plus CAN25$ custom fees) is the best price he's ever gonna get.

In my humble opinion, if you have to chose between him and Gen Metroplex, I'd say go for G1 Fortmax. He feel way more solid and massive, is loaded with play features, and his transformation is way more complete than "I'm sitting down" Metroplex. He also work very well with Cyberverse figures.

Also, it's freking FORTMAX. What more can I add?
