I have the Fansproject kit but this is a really great substitute for those who couldn't find it. Do you have to modify any of the figures or can you just pop off the parts you need and peg them on?

I don't have the figure, but if I did, I would.

Love my Big Convoy. And his detachable shell is oddly cool. I imagine that he can ditch all the kibble as a last-minute tactic to improve his hand-to-hand combat ability.

According to Wikipedia:
"The genus gives its name to the family Mammutidae, assigned to the order Proboscidea. They superficially resemble members of the proboscidean family Elephantidae, including mammoths; however, mastodons were browsers, while mammoths were grazers."
"Browsing is a type of herbivory in which an herbivore (or, more narrowly defined, a folivore) feeds on leaves, soft shoots, or fruits of high growing, generally woody, plants such as shrubs.[1] This is contrasted with grazing, usually associated with animals feeding on grass or other low vegetation."
