Kudos on making the gestalt mode better looking. I knew there would be some way to help it not look all crap, but so so atleast for the toys sakes. You didn't flip up Bruticus's shoulder spikes though. Looks better without em flipped?

Yea, I don't too much care for the spikes flipped up. I figure I'll flip Ruination's up to differentiate the two molds.

It's still a little hokey to me. Doesn't look near as tuff ass as the FP Brute looks. but your pics did change my perception of it from having little respect for the FOC version to thinking that it's O.K...... i guess :roll:

Looks a lot better in team mode than combined. IMO

oh yeah now i really want them. but i have to say i want the retail onslaught more, its color accurate to the art work and it would be the closer to the same color as my classics one. can wait to get them.

Thought I'd dig out Hot Zone for some shots, considering the imminent release of the Voyager mould. This definitely does a better job of looking like Hot Spot, IMO. Shame about the hollow lower legs.

I painted Shockwave's 'pupil' yellow, I kinda like it, the light piping lights the surrounding clear plastic nicely. Again, hollow lower legs on display.

I didn't realise that there was a G1-esque Crankcase, I actually think he's really cool. This time, the legs are sooo thick to compensate for the hollowness of the other 2.
