The trailer came with the Takara release, where the Hasbro version omitted the trailer in favor of the Targetmaster and larger Matrix.

Finally got a Dark of the Moon Sideswipe on the way to my house, and in light of that awesome wheels-for-feet thing he's got going on, I thought I'd share with you all that Robots in Disguise Hightower and Heavy Load can do exactly that as well:

The FoC Combaticons got a lot of sh** for being a combiner group that wasn't perfect. The main issue being that Onslaught was the same size as the others instead of being a size up. The other issue being the skittles-like colours. However, they are not bad figures. They aren't Combiner Wars quality, but before we knew we had Combiner Wars coming, they were the best we could get!

Vortex is a weird one though. First of all, he's red, the guy in the video game is gold, but the character should be grey. Hasbro seems to have a hard time with colours sometimes. The other issue is that his colour helps him look like a lobster. Slap the sword/guns on him and the effect is complete. While he's not perfect, he's still a good toy, with an angry chest!

Brawl is probably the weakest of the FoC Combaticon figures. His tiny feet and giant backpack make him hard to stand, and the figure feels incredibly empty when you compare it to the hulking chunk of tank from the game. Still, he's not a bad toy! He articulates well, his tank mode does what a tank mode should do, and there's some nice molded in details! The fact that he turns into a tank, robot, turret, arm, and leg is pretty cool (to me anyway)!

Swindle's false-bigness doesn't bother me, to be honest. In fact it seems to fit right in with his character. Fooling people that don't look hard enough that he's bigger than he is. Like a frilled lizard. That aside, he's been my favorite Combaticon since the 80's as he doesn't really fit in with them. He's not so much a fighter as he is a used car salesman, even going so far as to sell his partners' corpses, and selling (or trying to sell) mission objectives to Galvatron! Nice guy. I liked him better in Transformers Animated though (even though I didn't like Animated too much).

The figure it's self has it's own problems. The hollowness is one, the other is that the plastic has no support structure, so it feels brittle (indeed, I've had to glue a thumb back on). However, I enjoy the character too much to let that detract from my enjoyment of this figure!

Blast Off was always the odd one out. His cartoon self spoke like a British aristocrat, and he was a space shuttle in with army vehicles. It didn't make any sense. Then he had a personality change in FoC to being more of a stunt pilot. To be honest, I like him more as a Brit.

I wouldn't want to be seen by anyone I know in this get-up! That has nothing to do with my twitter, but go look at it anyway!

Well at first I took this pic to show after 4 long months I got my Arkham Knights on Broadway Harley Quinn, but mid way through posing the two figures, it devolved into showing The Glorious Ankle Tilt Master Race. I considered adding Azalea, but that might be adding to much ankle tilt for a Filthy Casual who wandered on the board

Onslaught gets a lot of heat for being too short and too unposeable. Both complaints are understandable. He's too short because Hasbro didn't think fans would want to pay so much money to complete a combiner, and so by making him smaller/more affordable, they could sell more. And he's unposeable because if he had too much moving parts at his size class then he wouldn't be able to hold together well enough as a torso. So it's fair to say that he's the weakest of the FoC Combaticons. However, that still makes me no less happy that he's sitting in my collection!
