Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
Dr Va'al wrote:So between Takara Tomy Hardhead and Hasbro Hardhead - who would you recommend?
Hardhead was one of my lonely Transformers as a kid, and my only Headmaster, and the more I see on here with him, the more I'm tempted to pick him up. With TFNation coming up...![]()
Suggestions, tips?

Must be the reflection, it's actually silver.william-james88 wrote:And Cyberpath, I didnt notice until your pics, but the outline of the tank treads on on Hardhead seem to be paited a light blue. Is that the case or is that just reflection playing tricks?

Thanks! I have humidity in spades, didn't know it was a good thing. But I didn't mean rubber rot (melt/split).. just that it might get sticky and gross? (or is that also an effect of rubber rot?)

So far so good, thanks!Cobotron wrote:I know what you mean by "sticky and gross". I think that is a combo of a certain kind of rubber, paint, and time. I don't think these parts are that kind of rubber, and on my Hasbro Skruncher, both parts are molded in the appropriate color. So it may not be an issue. How are the treads on your Leader Megatron holding up?
Cobotron wrote:Va'al - YOu do have a dilema. I vote for which ever most floats your fancy. Or... which ever is easily attainable and fits your budget?

But you could buy that little tank seperately and you get a free extra head with it too.

I'll probably weigh up the prices at TFnation yeah.william-james88 wrote:Dr Va'al wrote:I prefer the Hasbro head, but everything else Takara, including the lil tank thing. Argh.

Not exactly free, though, and the tank would not be green.

Good show Caelus! Good show!
Counterpunch wrote:I'd say go with the Takara version if you have the option.
In person, the paint on the Hasbro version is kind of a thin yellow and it just isn't done all that well. IDW Hardhead has always had the non-cowl version, so there's that too.
One thing to note, the color combos between the two are not compatible, so buying both to swap heads won't look good at all.
