Aside from TFs another of my favourite lines back in the day was Battle Beasts (nice to learn they were effectively one and the same toyline over in Japan!

) and I still add the odd one to my shelf every once in a while. A while back I acquired a Tiger figure who was pretty worn so I took the opportunity to give him more realistic tiger colours (his fur is usually plain yellow) when I repainted his armour. I posted this pic on a BB board and it led to several people wanting one so in the end I traded him plus another five repaints in similar 'natural' style in return for a repro of Skull Grotess (the extremely rare Japanese dragon BB figure). Anyhow - story aside... I'm sure you all want to see the toys... here they are...

These are great work; I really like Triple Threat Snake's new markings, and the shell work on Hardtop Tortoise.
Though for some reason the bunny reminds me of Frank from Donnie Darko...

Several of the Battle Beasts are worth hundreds of dollars and most of their weapons are about $12 each if you buy from someone who knows what they are!!!

Only a handful of the later series Laser Beasts and a couple of rare figures fetch those kind of prices. The six figures I repainted probably cost less than $30 altogether - including weapons for most of them - the repro Skull Grotess is sold for $150 by it's maker whilst an original will set you back $195 or $350 for the rare 'painted toes' variant - you can find a useful price guide
