Bumblebee was the center of attention for the merchandising of this movie. Not just merchandising for us, but for kids and in some cases, young kids.

Can you imagine a parent's reaction after seeing the hero of the film kill an already-wounded Barricade? I bet you wouldn't want your kids to see that if they're fairly young and you probably wouldn't buy any toys from the movie as a result.

As opposed to say Optimus killing someone ...

i think Optimus killed Bonecrusher simply over BC's lack of care for killing humans, plus BC was killed in under a minute, easy kill for ol' Prime.

im hoping Barricade comes back, and the fued is settled between them ( BB )

Didn't Bumblebee land the final shot to Brawl's chest that killed him?

I agree with whoever said that the scene where Barricade was on the ground twitching should have been it, and that should have insinuated his death. Maybe see his eyes dim out or something to indicate it.

I also agree about the lame lack of interest shown in gettting Bumblebee away from S7. Like said, that's one less soldier if things went badly, and I think they could have easily overwhelmed the attempts to capture BB without doing too much damage to the humans. It'd be the humans that'd escalate it in the first place and turn it into a war.

yeah i have no clus as of why we had to see Barricade on the freeway for like .6 seconds, and then no closure?

I think Prime didnt know that BB was gonna be taken to the same place the Allspark was. He just wanted the Allspark pronto. well i guess thats the lamest awnser but still.

then why would he release megatron and kill a bunch of people?? even an undercover autobot wouldn't do that!

Sometimes you must sacrifice everything to prove that you are a Decepticon (that's if you are an Autobot undercover).

Gotta disagree. Even an Autobot undercover as a Decepticon would make an attempt to stop Megatron from killing innocent people.

Yeah the Autobots were on their way to the dam when the deceptions had already shot everything all to hell. They were going to get the alspark... not to look for bumblebee. They just happened to pass each other on the way out/in.

And Yes.. Bumblebee landed the final blow to Brawl/Devestator.
