It is official the following figures are cancelled in the following Transformers Lines Grab them now before you cannot! This is from various sources that have confirmed including Retailers Target and Walmart along with various E Tailers such as BBTS , Entertainment Earth and others.

The only one of these I believe is the Bumblebee driller.

Maybe, maaaaaybe the Generations Legends.

That Beast Hunters stuff is too big a line, and the retailers have to put something out between now and May.

Is there a source on this besides rampant speculation?

The source is Target Distribution center has all Beast Hunters and The Generations Legends SKU as NON ACTIVE with 0 on order.

Some of these showed up in Asia for a week and sold out promptly. None on order at those Retailers either. All of these are cancelled for North American release.

Walmart has no Legends Skus on order and are not re ordering Beast Hunters Merchandise either. Clearing the Aisles for the movie stuff! Only Generations Deluxes and Voyagers are active at Target , Walmart and Kmart currently.

Joel from BBTS said hasbro is not opening orders for any Generations Legends for US Distribution.

They are out in the Phillipines , Taiwan and HK.

They are not coming out in the USA. Some of them may show up in Canada. I believe the Cyberverse Commanders have been spotted there from the BH line however no USA retailers have them on order and BBTS is not accepting pre orders and they were shown back in JUNE of 2013!

Before we proceed, it must be stated that this is unconfirmed at the present time and could be from a misinformed source. (It happens more often than you think.)

Seibertron.com member Primeultimus has provided us a list of figures that are supposedly canceled to make way for new product lines. Normally, rumors aren't a big concern, however, cancellations have happened in the Transformers lines before. Reveal The Shield Demolition Rumble is one of those casualties, so we know of at least one major cancellation in the past.

Seibertron staffers Seibertron and El Duque are currently at the New York Toy Fair and will be asking Hasbro's people themselves as to whether or not this list or even a cancellation is legitimate or happening. Once we have official confirmation either way, we'll update immediately to let everyone know.

With that said, here's the list of figures rumored for possible cancellation.

E-Tailers like Entertainment Earth and BBTS have tried to order these and no go.

They want to order them. Trust me the demand exists for these.

Eh, I don't really mind. I was planning on third party or shapeways for Swerve and Tailgate, as for the other two, I wasn't planning on getting.

But if this means that the future ones are cancelled as well (Cluffjumper, Gears, Brawn, etc.), then that would be a let down. I was looking forward to Brawn.

Bingo. If the big guys don't want 'em, start scoping Five Below, Big Lots, Ollie's, and the women's discount clothing chains in about three months. If they're made, they'll get dumped somewhere.

There's also a whole other wave of Bot Shots and Construct-bots that would be going the same route if this is accurate.

Also fair to note that part of my skepticism comes from hope. Was really looking forward to the Cyberverse stuff.

Well at least we know some of those figures have seen a general release. BH Voyager Prime & PRedaking as well as Legends Magnus, Unicron Megatron, & Bludgeon have all been released in Canada.

So here's hoping we see some damn Generations Legends on the pegs.

That's kind of what I meant. they're somewhere... worst comes to worst just import them. but I wouldn't do it right now. Prices will probably skyrocket with this news of the possibility.

EDIT: just searched EBay and 6 were sold in the last hour for $65.99

If this is indeed true, it's extremely annoying.

Makes me wonder why I even bother supporting these lines or this company with my hobby dollars. Months of teasing images of characters that I actually want and will pay for...only to be told "NOPE! LOL!".

Guess it's the waiting game to see if it's true.

Losing those legends would be the biggest tragedy for me, but the way the first wave's shelfwarming everywhere from Target to Big Lots, I'm not surprised. I wasn't paying attention to case assortments, but were they all 1X Op and Bee, but 3X Megs and Screaminator per case? I fear Hasbro may have shot themselves in the foot with that decision, as I can understand retailers not wanting future waves of the same.

well if they DO get canceled, here is the best case scenario for the generations legends (the rest i don't actually give a crap about)
they are ALREADY generations toys... they could just be canceling them temporarily and then release them after the movie crap is over. they wouldn't need to repackage them as they are already generations, and we know the generations line isn't going anywhere anytime soon. so they could just be postponing the wave till later rather than just upright canceling the figures, but still "canceling" them for this go round.

Five Below is a good place to look for overstock TFs. It's where I got my TFP Vehicon!
And oddly enough, though not a TF, Mercury from NECA's TRON 2.0 line.

I hope this isn't true, but I believe it. I've been wanting a Cosmos figure for decades and this would be the second time they've made one and failed to release it.
