Arrayhanks for the tips, ravage.i'll try that manual focusing trick next go around,my camera is about 6-7 years old and has no higher brain functions than flash, red eye fix,no flash, and resolution change.......it really might be time for a new camera, course i already bought one and it won't power up.
i agree with you about the alt modes, there was only so much that i could do with a pair of binoculars, and i didn't want do cosmos(or pathfinder) seeing as how someone on the boards beat me to the punch.
Ah, then you definitely need a tripod. even with my camera's image stabilization, and great ISO rating, it can't take pictures in the evening for crap. (I probably gotta play around with it more though. so many settings)
Indoor shots without stabilization are probably comparable.
Or if it has a timer function, sit it down and hit the button. or even if it doesn't have a timer, try taking the picture while the camera is sitting on a solid surface.
Arrayoincedentally, what did you think of the bot mode, ravage?
Hrm. well it does have huge tank treads hanging off the arms, but whatever. I think there's less problems with the robot mode. It's fine.
