One of the hats I wear is event coordinator and just love pre-planned activities. Especially when I don't know anyone yet.

There were quite a few of us who got together last year. There will probably be a thread closer to the con trying to get everybody together.

Attend a Cincinnati Reds game
Go to Kings Island or Jungle Jim's (a very strange grocery store).

First - Cincy isnt' a nowhere or non important town. Saying that only makes you sound ignorant and uninformed about the rest of the country.
Second - its expensive as hell for convention space in Vegas, LA and NY. The elitist liberal politicos tax the hell out of you which in turn causes the convention halls and hotels more expensive
Third - a larger percentage of the population lies east of the Rockies and south of the Beltway. You know "fly-over" country that elites like your mindset dismiss cause you think the east/west coasts are the only way to live.
Get your ass on a plane. I do. I have. Be the big fan you say you are and pony up or shut up.
All this complaining that "its not in my town" drives me nuts. Exceptions made for students. And if Toyotus Superion is a student...sorry.

Also... Is it possible to buy two boxsets? Or would I have to drag along a girlfriend, hand her some money, stick her a few people behind me in line, and pretend not to know her?
Last year the Primus package was $279. That got you everything. The box set and admission to all of the activities. An extra loose set ran $179. You would have to find somebody else to buy another Primus package if you want another box.
Those prices are for members of the Transformers Collectors Club. If you are planning on getting the Primus package and spending a couple days there, I highly suggest joining. The money that you pay for joining the club pretty much evens out the extra that you would pay for being a non-member. Plus you get a free figure and discounts on the club exclusive figures as well.
Then there is the convention only exclusives. Those set will probably cost about $90 and $60. That may be off a little but it should be close.
Take as much money as you can for the dealer room. You're going to find all kinds of stuff that you want, and you probably won't get the greatest deals in the world, but there are some good ones to be had.
And prepare to stand in line a lot. But it's cool, because no matter where you are in line you can turn around and say "hey, do you like Transformers?" Instant ice breaker.

Hope that helps.
Awesome man. It helps a lot. I appreciate it.
Actually, one more question that Imma take a shot at asking. So around $280 for the Primus package if you're a TCC member, but anybody got a quote as far as what it would be without being a TCC member?
Ah... Third edit. I'm sorry, I probably seem like a prick for wanting exact details on every small little thing.
Looking for confirmation:
As far as convention exclusives go, other than the Games of Deception boxset which is included in the Primus package... Last year you got Alpha Trion & Weirdwolf as a convention souveneir two-pack, right & how much for them? Then there was Huffer & Springer convention souveneir two-pack which was how much for those guys? Then how much was the Vector Sigma piece? And where did that transparent Classics Mirage come into play?
I'm sorry for being anal about this, guys. Its going to be my first Botcon. I want to get together all the information I can, as detailed as possible.

Somebody should invent an alcohol patch. They did the patch for people addicted to cigarettes. They can do it for people that love the bottle....
Just becauswe we're addicted to different things doesn't mean we have to go down different roads to get clean. The chain smoker going through three packs of cigarettes a day gets to wear a patch or chew some gum. I gotta take months out of my life to go to rehab. Totally not fair......

Lucky for you I can drink enough for both of us, so you won't really be missing out on the fun!

If anyone sees me drinking at Botcon, please... Take my drink away from me. Before I have a chance to do some drunk dialing and look really pathetic.

When I couldn't accomplish the feat, I got really sad and started crying. So I curled up into a ball in the corner and called my mom. At least, I thought I had called my mom. The completely random guy whose number I had drunk dialed was very pissed at me for calling him "mommy."

No way. I'm all business when it comes to the panals and what not, but once the day ends, I will be getting retarded and I need a retarded wing man. Looks like your the man for the job.

Do not say this if you do not mean it, dear! Do not be shocked if something holds you to this!

The idea will not work. You see, the idea of a main guy and his wingman is an impossibility when both men are getting stupidly drunk. Because what is a wingman's job? To take the ugly girl off so that the main man has the opportunity to talk to the attractive girl without the ugly friend ____ blocking him.
You see though, the problem is this: If you're hammered, then both women are attractive.
I am horrible, horrible person... >.<

"Dude... I got it! Alright, get this. This going to be an event. We're gonna take a tree, right? We're a take tree, and put in our living room."
"What?"
"Yeah, we're going to take tree and put in our living room. Then the shiny. We take things that are shiny and put it on the tree."
"Okay..."
Yeah... Then we get lights."
"Lights?"
"Yeah... And we put 'em... We put em on the roof. We put the lights on the roof. Then there's this fat guy."
"Dude... Are you reinventing Christmas?"
"What? No. This different. Just... Just listen. The fat guy, he breaks into your house. And comes through a hole in the roof, because you put the lights on the roof to attract him. But he's like... An anti-burglar. Instead of taking stuff, he leaves you stuff."
My best friend got hammered at the bachelor party and reinvented Christmas. Hoo-rah!
