Come on now, I mean let's have some talk about this. If you feel strongly about your side, either argue for it and support that argument or admit you were wrong to begin with.

Otherwise, there's no point to the discussion.

I already responded in the last post at the bottom of the last page. But let's face it. What is the point of arguing really? I think the repaints are lame, and you don't. And I'm sure there are people that agree with both sides for different reasons. It's just a matter of opinion. But I have a right to my opinion as much as you do. Arguing over it isn't going to change anyone's mind. What else is there beyond that? I don't feel that I'm wrong but at the same time I honestly I don't care enough to argue about it because the fact that the set is sold out proves people will buy lame(in my opinion)repaints or any other crap that Hasbro makes and slaps the Transformers name on. And that's essentially what my original statement said.

Why are people surprised that they keep making repaints. If you go back to the beginning.. ALL of the first year transformers are repaints of Diaclone. Not only that.. There were multiple repaints in the first year! The seekers, Prowl and Bluestreak, the various colours of bumblebee and cliffjumper.

grrr... I have so much more to say.. but I don't know how to say it without getting kicked off of seibertron.. so I'm keeping my mouth shut.

That's why it's called collecting.

I'm just tired of the whiners who complained that last years set was too good and couldn't get one and now this year they are glad they are not goiong because it's "just repaints". I'm sure the same amount of work went into this years set as last years. It just happends that painting Starscream blue generated a different response than painting Optimus purple.

I was not that interested in this years set so this does not matter much to me.
It is crazy that the loose sets sold out before they released pix of the others too..

And for the record, if I liked them I would gladly pay the $300 for them (as I paid for the set last year)..

What I don't get is how can the preorder over at BBTS for the box set has already sold out. Don't people know that they can still order the set from Botcon itself for about $100 less? There are waaay to many stupid people in the world.

you can only buy a loose set if you buy a regular set so no big loss there.

And yeah i'm guessing folks are anticipating them to sell as well as last years, I don't think that they will but we could still see it do well.

I like the set but just not sure until I see more of what's down the ramp. I like the idea of the Rodimus I've heard about. Really is going to depend on the others. Seeing the rest will help me decide.
